If you love the Beatles this is a must stop as well. The walls are covered in all sorts of Beatles memorabilia.”

“Ok. So we went to Red Lobster to try their new seafood boil bag. We've been loyal Mr Crabbys seafood boil bag customers for 5 years. Finding really great seafood outside of NH is hard. So hard..... Until now. The RL boil bag is far superior. Here's why: 1. The seasoning is just right. Choice of garlic & butter or Cajun. Got the Cajun- because that's the only seasoning in a proper boil bag that's acceptable. 1a. The seasoning is far better as it's not drowning in oil- causing constant crab splatters. 1b. The seasoning does not overpower the taste of the seafood like Mr Crabbys does. You can actually taste the lobster- shrimp and crab. 2. The bag comes with 6 more shrimp (12 total) than Mr Crabbys 6. The lobster tail is split fully in half rather than just slashed down the top spine- making it difficult at Mr Crabbys to pull the meat out in one swipe. (That's what she said) 3. The bag does NOT come with sausage if you order the Mariners Bag. However it can be added. Here's the closer- it's REAL Andouille sausage- not kielbasa. Me Crabbys has been using kielbasa the last few times we went. If you know the difference in flavor- you'll understand why this matters. 4. I wore my bib cuz I'm accustomed to having the food drip all over me as I crack and work for my reward. It was not needed. Even with dumping the bag into the tray- it was not over saturated in oil- but rather delicately seasoned with butter. Over all- we have a new Sunday Boil Bag date location. I never thought I'd stray from Mr Crabbys- but shockingly- Red Lobster has become the affair worth having. They did good with hiring this new CEO who brought this brain child to my beloved Maine lobster Locale here in the Deep South. If yall see this- please- from this coastal New England girl trying to get a nut in the RGV.....don't ever drop this from the menu. Sincerely Your newest fan.”

I was really impressed by their employee Juan who works on the Laredo taco company side. Very kind and such an interactive person, every conversation we’ve had has been delightful. We told them how hard it is to find and how much it means to us and they were happy to keep it going. Truly a place that cares about making people happy. Feels like that’s rare. That’s why young’s is legendary in my book.”

I was going to ask for creamer to add in but the server told me to try it first then think about adding it in. Thank god he told me to try it first because it was delicious on its own and they serve it in a traditional Jarrito Mexicano. The food was amazing. I got the breakfast torta and it was delicious. My family got the enchiladas, chilaquiles, and omelette and they were very pleased. I also recommend the cucumber lemonade. Our server Enrique was extremely helpful with our order and very attentive. Overall his customer service and the food was amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are ever in McAllen you should stop by.”

They say every hero’s journey begins with a call to adventure. Mine began with an invitation… to Chuck E. Cheese.
The doors creaked open, releasing a blast of recycled air thick with the scent of pepperoni and forgotten dreams. I took my first cautious step inside and was immediately engulfed in the madness — a blur of flashing lights, shrieking children, and the faint sound of coins hitting the floor like war drums.
The animatronic band is gone now — replaced by giant screens that scream color and chaos. Yet somehow, I can still feel their gaze, judging from the beyond. Chuck E. himself emerges from the fog of noise, his oversized head gleaming under the LED lights. His smile says, “Welcome.” His eyes say, “You can never leave.”
Every surface glistens — not with cleanliness, but with the fingerprints of 10,000 children who’ve come before. I touch a game button and instantly feel my immune system file for resignation. Hand sanitizer becomes my holy water. I press forward, knowing there is no turning back.
The pizza arrives: molten, oily, heroic. It tastes like the 90s and regret. Parents sit slumped in booths, sipping cold soda, eyes glazed over — soldiers of another war.
When I finally step outside, sunlight feels foreign. I’ve aged years. I smell like arcade tickets and hand sanitizer. And yet… deep down… I know I’ll return.
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely — but it’s not quite 5 stars.
It’s 4, because the only thing standing between me and inner peace is a full-body Clorox bath.”

Remember that this is a small town, not a big city, so staying open all night is unusual. We tried it a couple of times. We ordered bean tacos, egg tacos, and coffee. It was good Mexican food. They have a breakfast combo that is very popular: 2 tacos plus coffee for about $5. We went through the drive-through window. The service was friendly and relatively fast.”

The food was great so I rate it 5 stars the only problem was the atmosphere as in the bartender came up to me and my bf to complain about the drink we had she said and I quote “ did you just get that drink cause it’s not even you’re and she proceeded to walk away upset” the drink we had gotten from our server James was the correct order so what Order what the bartender talking that she felt the need to interrupt me and my bf meal to complain. And if it the drink we had wasn’t the correct one then why did it take her 30 minutes to just pour it for us since it was just a simple beer. I proceed to see her act rude and point at me and my boyfriend while she was complaining to another server that was working the cocktail area. I found this very unprofessional and rude how dear this bartender feel the need to not only take 30 minutes to pour are beer but to come up to use after are server dropped it off just to say it wasn’t the right one when she didn’t even ask what kind of beer it was that we had so she just assumed it wasn’t correct I found her very rude and I would understand if she was busy but it’s wasn’t so she had no excuse for being as rude as she was. But overall we loved our server James he was amazing and I would definitely come again just to have him as my server”

I'm sure you'll make more money if it's clean and descent. I bowl didn't even flushed and as I opened, it's full of floating stool that made me nauseous and won't flush. No wonder the person I followed could not flush even if she tried because "it's out of order". From then on we used the restroom outside. I almost vomited the food I ate. Please renovate it so it will look like new.”
