“We are new to the Valley and are searching the little gems. We found one at Santa Fe. The steaks were great. My spouse had the filet, cooked to perfection medium rare and velvet smooth. I went for the ribeye. Same results, perfectly cooked. Both steaks had flame char. Our server, Poppy, was divine. She was so helpful and attentive. We will be back.“

“Apparently open table does not communicate with pf changs. So when we got there they had no knowledge of our reservation and were gonna put us at the end of the line for the wait. It wasn't until I brought it up again that they decided to honor my reservation. I am grateful that they were able to accommodate after I pushed but it shouldn't happen at all. The food was great but the lychee martini was way too sweet. Tasted like concentrated juice.“

The trip was worth it! The people there are so friendly, and the food was sooo delicious, the owner even gave us some food samples to try. I highly recommend this place to everyone. “I love this Italian restaurant. A little pricey but food portions are so generous, fresh and delicious. Their bread needs a revisit. It does not match the rest of the menu for flavor or freshness. I have several favorites but love the Pancetta Carbonara.“

“We came to Nak Won Jung and tried the galbi, kimbap, and seafood soup.

The galbi had great flavor but was a little on the tough side — wish it had been a bit more tender. The kimbap was fresh and satisfying. The real standout though was the seafood soup — packed with fresh seafood and full of rich, savory flavor. Definitely a must-try if you’re a fan of soups!

Service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and cozy — perfect for a comforting Korean meal.“

Tacos were full, lemonade was great, this is one of the few places that uses an actual potato and not blended fake instant mashed potato, we got one with meat..it was so good too big considering we got 2 orders of tacos also! That potato came with a few chips, rightfully so, it was a great appetizer. Nothing personable about the service not rude but friendly enough. Great food.

Update: we went again 3 more times. Great service and consistently great food! Also I forgot my phone on the table and came back to find the wonderful staff kept it behind the counter. Much love for this place.“

“Came in here with a friend and got the fajitas tacos 🌮. They were delicious 😋. What made them really good were the tortillias de maiz. They were fresh and delicious. The fijorles a la charro were delicious as well. Service was friendly and great.

“If you live in the Rio Grande Valley, you have probably been to this restaurant. It is local food at relatively low prices, and it is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Remember that this is a small town, not a big city, so staying open all night is unusual. We tried it a couple of times. We ordered bean tacos, egg tacos, and coffee. It was good Mexican food. They have a breakfast combo that is very popular: 2 tacos plus coffee for about $5. We went through the drive-through window. The service was friendly and relatively fast.“

“El Divino is one of our very favorite places to eat. The food and drinks are consistently excellent (since 2013!) and the restaurant is beautiful with a separate room for private functions. The fillet and Brussels sprouts are the best in McAllen and the burger is very good - it’s the dish visiting friends remember when we take them there. Make sure to ask for Jess, our favorite server, for a great dining experience. She always remembers our drink order, makes us feel so welcome, and is a huge part of why we keep coming back.“
