“Short wait at lunch time.
We had a BLT, loved the fried green tomato twist, but the bacon was over done and the bread was a little soggy.
Turkey dinner was great and southwest tacos were good.
Our server Jennifer C was friendly and efficient.
The staff was mostly awesome, could have done without listening to host bad mouthing fellow employees and other guests while waiting for our table.“

“Small, cute little diner with bangin food. Ordered gluten free pancakes with bacon and eggs and it was too much food for my kid to eat.

We did a to go order over the phone and the only thing close to an issue we encountered was how small the parking lot / drive through are vs handle how ridiculously busy they were.“

“Food was good as usual but the service made it even better. Our server was Kaley and she was amazing“

“We had lunch today on the porch! LED off with Fried Oyster appetizer! Spicy Crunchy Trout with Broccoli and roasted potatoes and a really nice side salad. My wife had the Three Seafood Salad with Salmon and Shrimp. I know there was another seafood item but she can’t remember. But the waitress was so professional and in these days…she was so good! I wish we’d gotten the Fried Brie appetizer! A little hard to Locate back in behind the other shops but they were also fun! Very good bread as well!!!!“

“food excellent Bobby great waiter“

“We have enjoyed dinner at GRG numerous times but last night was phenomenal! I tried the fajita dinner and it was so good! Large tacos filled with perfectly seasoned steak, pickled red onion, feta cheese, tomato and homemade salsa. It was served with a seasoned rice side that was also wonderful. It comes with avocado but I’m not a fan so 86’d it. Hubby had steak and said it was also wonderful. Cooked perfectly to his medium rare and topped with a compound butter that added another level of seasoning. Served with a side of potatoes and green beans, it was a beautiful plate. Our server was great and the atmosphere was very nice. We will be back again soon and can’t wait to try more of their yummy dishes.“

“Love eating here for breakfast! ❤️“

“We had lunch yesterday ( Fathers Day ) at Root Cellar. Upon arrival we were told that it was about a 50 minute wait. I saw several open tables inside that needed to be cleaned off plus 3 open tables outside that needed to be cleaned but there was a 50 minute wait???? This was the first time visiting for my wife & I but not for our kids. The waiter came & took our drink order at which time I told him I wanted ice tea & I wanted my glass full of ice none of this 1/3 or 1/4 full. Well the waiter wasn't listening or paying attention I got a glass of ice tea with little ice. When he came back to refill my tea glass I reminded him that I wanted a full glass of ice, he began to lecture how a full glass of ice was going to water down my tea. Dude, don't lecture me, this old man been around the sun a few more times than you. The waiter took our order of food which turned out to be mostly sandwiches. The menu stated that each sandwich came with kettle chips & then there were sides that you could add if you wanted, I ordered a side mac & cheese to which I got a lecture from the waiter. When we got our food instead kettle chips we got kettle chip pieces, what was left in the bottom of the bag everyone else already the chips so we got the crushed chips from the bottom of the bag. Come on Root Cellar I think you can do better than that.“

“Steve’s service is always delivered with a smile and unmatched hospitality. He remembers favorites, offers great suggestions, and truly makes every visit feel personal — his care in service makes coming back a no-brainer! The food is just as amazing. Delicious southern comfort dishes like the chicken and waffles and the unique eggs Benedict twist were outstanding, and the cocktails were refreshing. The ambiance is charming with both indoor and shaded outdoor seating, making it the perfect spot for family meals or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!“

“Service was just as great as a the food. The girls all helped each other with their tables. It was lovely seeing everyone working together. My picky daughter that loves burgers loved her burger. The chicken fried chicken was so delicious. Overall a fantastic experience and we will be returning.“

“We were there with LP, a previous reviewer and we all thought her dress was nice. Jen the owner/bartender may have a dry sense of humor but she wants people to have a good time. She has never been demeaning or rude in any way. I’m sorry they felt that way, but this place is nice.“

“Matt and his team were amazing last night as they delivered an incredible meal for the guests at the Smith wedding. Thank you so much for your hospitality and hard work in helping make last nights wedding memorable! Thank you Johnny’s!“

“Cool little spot. We got there too late to eat, even though we were starving. Went to restroom and there was no toilet paper had to phone a friend for help. The drinks, rum and coke and a whiskey were so light on alcohol I am pretty sure they did not have any...at all.“

“So we made an online order there last night when we arrived to the restaurant at designated pick up time the restaurant could not find our order. Eventually, we found out it was a technological issue in the manager was super kind and prompt and made sure that the order got made for us as quickly as possible. They also included a couple of extras and a dessert, which was very kind. They went above and beyond to get us taken care of as quickly as possible. Aside from that everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend this location.“

“Was so hopeful, but the pizza was disappointing. My carry out oder of "The Big One" was a disaster. I wish I could have attached a photo. The pizza did not look anything like the photo. Crust was flat and without rise. No red onions present, kalamata olives were replaced with canned black olives, and is that fresh basil on the pizza in the photo? Unfortunate and very regretable.“

“The blue bacon burger has been a favorite of mine for a long time! I’ve eaten at many burger places, and it’s hard to think of anywhere that can top this one! Wait staff is always very friendly as well! Highly recommended!“

I had the lemon pepper bc its my favorite flavor. They were so crispy and seasoned very well. The waitress Zoe shout out to her, she did her job too, beyond nice and attentive. Definitely want to come back again“
