“A++ experience. Every single bite was outstanding, but in particular the kanpachi and shima aji were all particularly delicious for me. The staff do a great job of giving each party a personalized experience while dining with the full group of 12.
What sets Craft apart from other omakase restaurants is not just the attention to detail of each dish, the elevated simplicity, or execution - it's the non-sushi dishes. On this occasion it was chawanmushi and shrimp aguachile with leche de tigre; in the summer, a beautifully composed compressed watermelon dish was memorable.

“this is one of the first restaurants I went to in Austin. 5 years ago and its still a favorite. love the vibe, it's never too busy, the food is delicious and the owners are nice. Today my pregnancy baby brain kicked in and I forgot my purse there and didn't notice for over 2 hours, they set it aside for me at their reserved table so no one would take it. Love drunk fish ❤❤“

“Very good bento box! I had the beef bulgogi and kiddo had the chicken teriyaki. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared. It was a good value with 2 pieces of nigiri in addition to the typical Cali roll, tempura veggies, soup, salad, rice, veggies, and gyoza. We will be back!“

“After my family and I trying out Umi and having the WORST experience there last night, we ended up eating here. BEST decision we made!! Service was awesome and the food was delicious!!! $30 for an all-you-can-eat buffet, the quality of the seafood was fresh and even the other plates were fresh! We will DEFINITELY be eating here more often!!“

“This restaurant is located in a Whole Foods Market. Right next to the fruit station. Most people come here in search of the freshest and most high quality ingredients in their city. So what’s the deal with the sushi place? ? I got Salmon Teriyaki Bowl, it was $15.49 & delicious. Dodged the veggies, not there’s anything wrong with them, I’m just scared of vegetables. Overall, I can see this becoming a more frequent lunch for me in a pinch, Especially if they put JOYRIDE in the Candy Section! ?“

“We are staying in the Domain for the weekend. We arrived at dinner time on a Friday. We walked into the Plank and immediately sat at the bar. We had the Boiled Oysters and a Spicy Tuna Sushi roll. Both were excellent! The vibe was quiet, with the restaurant about 30% full. Our bartender was average; he may have been busy as the only bartender. The Plank isn’t a bad choice if you are looking for seafood.“

“We dropped in for lunch on a whim. This place is just as amazing as always. We ordered an appetizer of spicy edamame that came out really quickly but was very tasty. Our mains (Sushi rolls and Dan Dan noodles) were excellent as always. This has become our go to place for ramen and Sushi. We were taken care of by Reese. She was very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend 👌“

“I was craving comfort food in the middle of it all—-too many shoppers on Mother’s Day weekend and I had to eat Asian food. I’m so glad I gave in and saw this corner food place right next to Zara. “Mongolian grill and sushi restaurant. All of the other patrons were ordering the stirfry so we gave it a shot. The bowl for ingredients seemed awfully small and they do up charge if you overfill it. However , the cooked result was of adequate size for the $13. The food was quite tasty and we enjoyed the meal. Would recommend not overdoing the cooking sauce. I used three containers and I think one and a half or two would’ve been sufficient. We will be returning. Highly recommend.“

“Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is definitely a novelty dining experience and worth trying at least once for the unique setup. The main attraction is the conveyor belt system, where a variety of sushi and small plates move past your table for you to grab as you please. It’s fun and different, but your experience can vary depending on where you’re seated. If you’re closer to the start of the belt, you’ll see a wide variety of fresh options. If you’re further down the line, you might be left with fewer choices as items get taken earlier.
Pricing is per plate, which makes it easy to try a little bit of everything, but it can also add up quickly if you’re not keeping track. Every so often, after a set number of plates, an animation plays on the small screen at your table, and sometimes you even receive a small toy or prize, which is a nice touch for kids or first-time visitors.
The food itself is decent, but nothing exceptional for the price once the novelty wears off. For me, it was more about the experience than the flavor, and it’s easy to overspend without realizing it.
Overall, it’s a fun spot to visit once just to see how it works and enjoy the novelty of sushi gliding past your table, but I wouldn’t make it a regular dining choice.“
