“I stopped at this Wendy’s trying to rekindle that fresh‑fry miracle I had back in Lake Charles — you know, the one that touched my soul and reset my attitude. But baby… the anointing was gone. The spirit had left the fryer.

I pulled up to the window, ready to pay for my little blessing in a red carton, and they looked me dead in my face and said they were out of ketchup. OUT. OF. KETCHUP. I’ve lived a long life, seen a lot of things, but I have never heard of such. Fries with no ketchup feels like showing up to church and the choir done called in sick.

Now, the staff was sweet, bless their hearts, but my taste buds were standing there confused like, “Lord… what are we supposed to do now?”

Still love Wendy’s, but this visit? Whew. My Lake Charles fry moment remains undefeated.“

“I swear this is the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. The food is always hot and fresh and fries perfectly salted. The staff is always so nice and patient too, not to mention fast. Will choose this one over others in area every time.“
