“Hashi Japanese Kitchen is the best Japanese restaurant we have found in the north Texas area. Their home made sauces are very good, much better than any packaged sauces. The owner is very nice and helpful, I wish the best for their success.“

They have a HUGE vegetarian menu, so many options of ramen—including paitan. Amazing hand rolls, delicious onigiri, and the best Japanese curry I’ve had in Texas. The vegetable croquet curry is… INCREDIBLE!! They even have delicious mochi. 😭

My soul feels healed because the food was so good. For the chashu fans, they offer chicken chashu for any pork option and are so happy to accommodate your needs!

“Came here for my nieces 16th birthday dinner and had a lovely experience. Not only was the food high-quality and delicious but, the staff was attentive and friendly. Also, the ambience was really nice with beautiful piano music. I can’t speak to how loud it gets when the restaurant is full since it was only at maybe 25% capacity. We ordered both sushi items, the chicken teriyaki and Bulgogi – all amazing. I highly recommend Sake Toro Sushi. Thank you to Helen and the rest of the awesome staff!“

“I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“Staff was extremely friendly and professional. This was our first time coming here, and we will definitely be coming back! We started with the fried calamari that was perfectly cooked, and the sauce complimented it perfectly. We ordered 3 different bowls of ramen that did not disappoint at all. My wife had the veggie ramen, and our son had the kids ramen, which was surprisingly big, and I had the beef ramen. The beef fell right off of the bone and had amazing flavor. We ordered a California roll and a Monster roll that was packed full of flavor. This is our new favorite spot in Mckinney. “My family and I have been here a handful of times and have had a great experience every time. The service here is both fast and friendly and they consistently serve tasty dishes and large portions. My husband and kids have tried many of the ramen dishes and have yet to find one that they don't enjoy. I think this has become our new favorite spot.“

“Easily the best ramen I've had in the Collin County area. Hell even the price has beaten inflation! You can't get any better ramen by far. Their broth is just simply different. The noodles are the best rice noodles I've ever have. And this place stays open till 2 am everday?? It's heaven for late night folks. Definitely one of the best restaurants around in general. Their service is still quick as can be and their staff DO take their jobs seriously. With a lot of care and heart. Not many places if any have that type of worth ethic left 🤧“

“The staff was friendly, I ordered their honeydew milk tea with boba and the spicy tuna roll. The size is more of a Japanese size than an American size, that said, I am full after eating one whole roll by myself. The flavor of the sushi was very good, the fish and the avocado both tasted fresh and I liked the addition of the sesame seeds. The spicy roll itself wasn't too spicy (for me), but the wasabi was spicy (which is good because that means I could actually taste it! It wasn't watered down like how some places give you). The ginger was also very flavorful. Overall very well balanced sushi, with good quality ingredients. The ingredients are what make this place good ?“

“Been going here for almost 10 years and they are consistently excellent in quality food and service. Love the fat slabs of salmon they aportion for their nagiri! The people working there are always so kind and welcoming, I really hope they can expand their success. We moved to Carrollton and wished they were closer, but we always drop by when in their area.“

If you go during their happy hour 2-5 then you can get some killer inexpensive rolls. We tried their Salmon Skin roll. It was really good. We will definitely be back. If you like sushi and want to try something a little different go and give them a shot.“
