I didn’t realize I had placed an online pick up order minutes before closing (early closure due inclement weather) and rather than simply canceling my order, I received a phone call from the restaurant advising me of their closing time, the guy offered to make my order and said he’d wait for me to get there. I went to open up the sandwich and saw cheese as an ingredient so I went to ask did cheese come standard on the sandwich, and it did. I said, “ awe man I’m vegan” and the young man immediately said don’t worry we can remake it without cheese! I was so happy and delighted with the excellent customer service and kindness! “This is a local gem! The food is always perfect, the staff is always friendly, and you will always walk out of there happier than when you walked in. This is truly one of my favorite places to go. The only downside is the front door can be difficult to open (heavy), but the staff is more than happy to help you with it.“

“Today was my first time to ever eat from this restaurant. I’ve lived in Fort Worth for 30 years so I know it’s a local favorite. The few times I’ve come in to pick up deliveries for DoorDash. It has smelled so good.I don’t have a lot of money. In fact, I’m full on, broke and struggling, but I wanted a treat , So I picked up a 4 inch cheesesteak sandwich. I didn’t see what I was getting until I got home. This is got to be the smallest inch sub I’ve ever seen. I was too hungry and tired to drive back over so I ate it. It was tasty it just that I was able to get it down in two bites. $7.48 with tip I spent for this little thing. Very disappointed.**Update- I went in to the restaurant today to show them this picture. I asked if I could have a discount on another sandwich. They were very accommodating and gave me a 10 inch sub for the price of a 7 inch sub. I think their Philly cheesesteak sandwich is awesome. Very tasty! I appreciate their willingness to accommodate.Stick with the 7 inch sub, though. That’s plenty for one person :).“
“I ordered 175 of their box lunches and 2 sandwich trays with a large bowl of fresh fruit. Their boxes were packed beautifully, and the fruit was so fresh. Along with each cup of fruit they give their amazing poppy seed dressing. I do not like pasta salad, but I ate every bite of mine. Three days later and the fruit is still so fresh! I ordered some gluten free sandwiches, which were also wonderful. Their tuna fish cannot be beat! Best I have ever had! I have been going to The Lunch Box for years but have never had take out before. They arrived ahead of schedule and are so friendly. “This place right here has become 10/10hands down my favorite place to go and get food. The staff is amazing! Food is always ready within 10mins MAXIMUM & that's really pushing it. One night I even had a problem with an order I had and I called to notify them, and they had No problem fixing it for me ! Replaced my WHOLE meal the next day no serious questions asked.. definitely recommend firehouse!!“
“I had to make a Walmart run and it just made sense to grab a bite to eat here. Plus, I always live Charley’s at the mall so it was worth a try. I see the other reviews but I didn’t have any problems. I was greeted when I approached the register. The cashier double verified with me all the toppings I wanted on my Philly. They brought my food out to me (maybe 5-10 minutes later). My sandwich was smoking hot with the cheese nice and melted. The 4 stars is only because nothing just wowed me over the top.
