“I love this place. The crawfish is exceptional. I love the mariachi bands. I always patron the band as much as possible. I always get an array of food like crawfish tortas and tacos. I practice my Spanish and the waitress practices her English. I took my daughter here and now she loves it as much as I do. I am planning my next visit as I write this.“

“First time coming to Mariscos El General. Food was delicious, the black salsa was AMAZING. I ordered a cántarito and my boyfriend ordered a michelada they were so worth it. Our waiter Dylan took great care of us. Definitely will be coming back. We live in Katy and it was worth the drive. They also have live music and it was super enjoyable. “O M G! When I say this is the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten....I'm nit cluckin With you!! It was absolutely perfect from the decadent Brioche bun, the rich crispy but light batter, the juicy chicken, perfectly sweet slaw and sauce with JUST the right amount of heat. When they sat it in front of me I didn't think I could eat it all it was so large.... but it was TOO PERFECT to not enjoy the entire thing. I only wish they were in Austin also. If your ANYWHERE within an hour of this place, it's worth the drive. The employees were also delightful, cheerful and appreciative. 50 STARS!!“

“We came the first week of April (our first time there and we were visiting family in Texas), and I never had crawfish until my sister ordered 3lbs of mild lemon pepper crawfish and OMG THEY WERE SOOOOO DELICIOUS. We were greeted by Linda and Steven beforehand and they were very kind and they assured us that we would have a memorable celebration for our mother's 79th birthday. When we arrived for the celebration, our seating was just as we had requested. Now, Tasha, did a magnificent job with our orders and she continued to serve us with excellence. She was on top of everything and we were a party of 18. She greeted us with much respect and kindness and made us feel very welcome. We had a great experience and would highly recommend others to come there. Mr. Steven, Tasha and Linda, thank y'all very much for being a great example of how to treat and take care of your guests. Y'all will not be forgotten. Also, all the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone was very happy with their food choice.“

I ordered the double tat sandwich, with the strawberry cheesecake, and the burger (which I couldn’t grab a picture of) but I can’t even explain to you, from top to bottom the sandwich and the sauce is BANGING, then the burger was perfectly made (personally a medium/rare guy) which he made perfectly. The homemade strawberry cheesecake bruh, that’s what’s sold the deal. Can’t even lie to you, can’t wait until y’all expand into a store front, I’d be there everyday.“

“I love going to this restaurant when i’m on a budget for seafood boil. You get what you pay for a more. I love their Eazy to Peel shrimp combo along with their fries. The customer service was great as well. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because the potatoes from the boil could be a hit or miss. Sometimes, it has a metallic taste but most of the times it doesn’t. Overall, great restaurant when you’re on a budget for seafood boil.“

“The food was delicious! The staff was willing to work with us regarding some food allergies and accommodated them without sacrificing quality. The service was personal, friendly and cheerful. We each had plenty of scrumptious food for a second meal. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere of family members walking in and out and the unusual experience of the location in the gas station. “I was running some errands in the area and went to this location for a meal. I ordered the fried oysters and fries in which it comes with that in addition to a couple of slices of bread. I am definitely an oyster girly and enjoy eating them fried, raw, bro, and any other way. The fried oysters were absolutely delicious and it had a very nice crunch to them.“

“A quaint place that I happened upon as a consequence of taking the bus in the wrong direction. On a spur of the moment while waiting on the next bus I went in and ordered the large Chicken Fried Rice which was tasty and abundant. The cashier told me that they could make the chicken a bit spicy if I'd like; and apologized for not telling me before (it is okay because I do not like spicy food but I was intrigued to try on my next visit 👍).“
