“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. “Good food, bill was about $50 after tip. New years day at 2:30pm and 2 guys working the front were doing a good job keeping up the full dining room. Ordered spicy cold noodles, pork shoulder combo and a spicy beef tofu soup. Side dishes were great, pork shoulder was delicious. Only complaint was the beef in our soup was quite tough.“

“The best Tteokbokki and hot dogs in the DFW! Please never change the recipe for the tteokbokki sauce. It’s perfect! Add in some glass noodles and you’re golden. “I recently visited Zzizim Korean Restaurant in Carrollton, TX with my daughter, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We ordered the seafood pancake with green onions, beef bulgogi, kimchi soup, and pork belly, and every single dish was amazing.

The seafood pancake was perfectly crispy on the outside and loaded with fresh seafood and savory green onions. The beef bulgogi was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right sweet, smoky, and incredibly satisfying. The kimchi soup had a rich, comforting depth with just the right amount of spice, and the pork belly was absolute perfection: juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.

Beyond the food, sharing this meal with my daughter made it even more special. Zzizim delivered both quality and comfort, and you can really taste the care put into each dish. We ordered a kid size version of the egg kimbap and our toddler LOVED it. We had the bulgogi, spicy dried squid, and gobo. The bulgogi was our favorite but they were all delicious! “My first visit! I called in to order, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in 25 minutes later and everything was fresh and hot! This was the best Korean BBQ fried chicken I have ever had in my lifetime! The french fries were perfect! Crispy and hot with a wonderful coating and honey butter flavor! This will be my go to place for chicken now! You can see that the staff prepare everything by hand, and the service is exceptional, love all the sauces too! “Genuinely such a great spot! Its BYOB and the food is delicious. I have eaten at quite a few places in the K-town of Carrollton and these are by far the best cold noddles around. Even their hot soups were so tasty, the beef wasn't tough at all and very flavorful! Definitely grab some of their hot broth as well, that stuff will heal your soul. This will definitely be going on my favorites list. My only tiny qualm was I couldn't find the napkins haha (probably user error)!“

We had such a great experience at 88 Korean BBQ and Hotpot. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the meats and hotpot options. Everything tasted really authentic.

The service made it even better. The staff, Anna Grace, was kind, attentive, and checked in often without being overwhelming. She made sure we were comfortable the whole time.

At the end we thanked the lady that helped us order and she had a genuine smile and reciprocated our gratitude.
