“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

“The restaurant was recently closed for a few days due to an air conditioning issue, but they are fully open again and the AC is working great! Management is even offering complimentary soju and soft drinks to make up for the downtime. We were really glad to see them back open and running smoothly—definitely appreciate the extra gesture!“

“We visited this place last Sunday. It’s very family-friendly and great for dining with kids. I had the spicy seolleongtang, and the broth was very rich and flavorful. We also ordered dumplings and pork cutlet, and the kids absolutely loved them.

Our server didn’t seem to be Korean, but she spoke Korean very well and kindly explained the dishes to us. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience and a nice place to visit with family.“

“Everything we ate was fresh and delicious! My order was promptly taken and we sat down with our drinks. The interior is super clean and the ambience is calm. The value for the money spent is unmatched, the portion was perfect for me as well. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and flavorful with a hint of char-grilled goodness. The macaroni was fresh and light and the cabbage salad was wonderfully crunchy and a nice contrast in texture. My only regret is not ordering more food for takeout. “My first visit! I called in to order, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in 25 minutes later and everything was fresh and hot! This was the best Korean BBQ fried chicken I have ever had in my lifetime! The french fries were perfect! Crispy and hot with a wonderful coating and honey butter flavor! This will be my go to place for chicken now! You can see that the staff prepare everything by hand, and the service is exceptional, love all the sauces too! “💖This was the best Korean meal I had during my trip in the U.S.! We ordered the Seafood Braised Pork Bone Stew, and it was absolutely amazing. It was covered with bright red chili flakes, but instead of being overwhelmingly spicy, it had a deep, rich, and incredibly delicious flavor. I never expected to find this authentic taste in the U.S.

“This is a fantastic and authentic experience and the food is delicious. We ordered 5 different dishes, served them family style, and my entire family absolutely loved every one and were stuffed at the end with food to take home. “This place serves authentic Korean cold noodles, and even the dining system feels like Korea. You pay first, there’s no tipping, you pick up your own food, and return your tray when you’re finished.
I’ve tried cold noodles at several Korean restaurants throughout the DFW area, and this is by far the best one I’ve found. I noticed they use a real cold noodle press machine in the kitchen, which makes the noodles fresh and gives them an excellent texture.
The Korean dumplings(만두)were huge, and the portion sizes were very generous overall. If you’re looking for authentic Korean cold noodles(냉면) in DFW, I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

Beautiful, clean, modern interior and the restaurant wasn't all that busy when we visited with a big group on a weekend so we were able to have a whole back section of the restaurant to ourselves. “SO GOOD! I came here for lunch and my group and I ordered fried chicken with fries and Teokbokki with cheese and ramyun. The chicken was incredible and super crispy! The sauces were absolutely delicious. The teokbokki was amazinggg!! My friend and I adore teokbokki and order it all the time when it's available but this one takes the cake. We devoured it so quick we almost considered ordering another. I really want to try their more traditional food items since it looks incredible! I am definitely coming back. “This place has pretty delicious Pho for a korean take on Pho. The regular pho tastes pretty close to a traditional vietnamese pho if you ask me. I think if they had white onions instead of purple, it would take this pho to another level. Otherwise, I am pretty satisfied with this place. “Texan Wangbal has some of the best Jokbal and Bossam in DFW. Great place if you're trying to watch carbs. Just don't eat too much of their delicious Soondae 😄

Their serving size is generous. Shared the Jokbal/Bossam combo plus a Soondae among 4 people and had leftovers for 2 meals.

I miss the larger menu from when they first opened but I get that was kind of huge and maybe needed to focus. (But please at least bring back the waffle stick dessert stuff). I had the smash burger today for the first time and it honestly might be the best burger I've ever had.“
