“Solid barbecue. Both the Brisket (purchased half pound) and sausage (link) were very good. The char on the brisket had an aggressive smoke taste , giving it a very distinct flavor. The original sauce had the proper amount of spiciness which I like. They have a milder, wimpy, sauce as well.“

“Delish! Had the loose cut brisket and turkey. Both were moist, flavorful, not too salty, not too smoky. You can taste the meat and it’s delicious. Great mayo potato salad. Nice and tangy! Delicious sweet and spicy bbq sauce that compliments the meat beautifully. I come out this way for work, I’ll be back! Thanks Randy!“

“The racism was apparent, no other waitresses wanted to take care of us.. they sent the only black girl to us but the joke was on them.. Layan was terrific and we definitely appreciate her service. It was phenomenal. She smiled she was polite she made sure our food was good she gave us ample time to finish our meal without being over bearing. She really made my daughter’s birthday dinner good.“

“They catered a celebration of life we had today. All the food was fantastic. The ribs were perhaps the best I have had in a long time. 9 out of 10. The only issue was we asked for half white bread and half rolls and only got bread. But that was the only misstep. Everything else was excellent. Everyone was more than pleased. We passed out some business cards. You will get some more business from this. Thanks you for a great experience.“

“Omg good! I don't know why it's taken us so long to try this place out. Food is reasonably priced. I had pepper jack chicken, broccoli cheese rice, and green beans. The chicken was piping hot, but my sides were luke warm. The chicken and broccoli dish were delicious. The green beans, however, lacked any flavor. My hubby had the country fried steak with okra and Cole slaw. He said everything was delicious. The salad bar was yummy with plenty of fresh choices. One thing I did notice was the Workers we interacted with weren't very friendly. We wanna go back to try steak night soon.“

“The meat was dry and a bit bland. The brisket was a weird square shape as well, usually it's shaped like bacon. The meat tasted like it was cooked in an oven and then finished on the smoker.
They had an all you can eat (AYCE) option as well but the normal 2 meat portion was more then plenty.
The people were super friendly, the portions were good and the atmosphere was nice so overall I would go back if I was nearby but I wouldn't drive out of my way.
One more thing, be prepared to smell like a smokehouse if you eat inside.“

“Love the patio, listening to live music and/or watching a game. The stuffed Jalapeños are one of our favorites, along with CFS, shrimp cocktail, crawfish (when and season) and so much more. Great servers, managers come and check up on you too. Sometimes we like to just sit at the bar for a drink & appetizer.“

“I picked up BBQ fries(hand cut fries with chopped beef and cheese on them), a sliced beef sandwich, and a sausage sandwich for my family to try. Everything was delicious!! Nobody complained!! The prices were very good and you got your money’s worth!! We will be back!! 😋“

“So yummy! The baked potato was huge-had to break it up into two meals. My husband and daughter got ribs and brisket. The meat was so tender and full of flavor. They got fried rice and beans for sides. Everything was great. Giving Killens a run for their money. We’ll be back soon🤗“

“After church, I had been craving a sliced beef sandwich with Potato Salad. I was headed home, and decided to stop here. I am Super, Uber glad I did. This place is very, very nice and clean inside. TV's to watch every different Sports 🥰Major win there. The Food was DELICIOUS !! OMG! You have got to try this place. There were other people there, atmosphere friendly, and did I mention the Food? Get over there as soon as you can. I was not disappointed at all.. Texas Pit Stop, I will be back next Sunday, after church 🥰🥰❤❤“
“First experience was with a group meetup, so just ordering beer at the bar.
Second experience, came to check out the food and other beer. We ordered the loaded fries and the SD #1 SD kemah suprema and the #3 SD wheat. The beer and food were great! We will be back based on that.
A few things to earn five stars.
1 - when we say it's our first time here, some type of introduction to the beer and establishment might be nice.
2 - there are some copper steins or mugs that you can purchase? Have no idea what those are, but other people bought them? Sales opportunities missed with us?
3 - brunch! OMG I had no idea about the brunch! We will be back for the brunch! More attention/advertising is needed for the brunch!“

“Food is AMAZING!!! I got an 8 oz ribeye for $21.59. Ordered medium well, steak was so tender and flavorful. Ranch potatoes are so tasty. Mac and cheese is not very good,
i’d skip that. My only complaint is the service. They did not write my order down so they had to ask me what I ordered multiple times and they would’ve got my order wrong if I hadn’t noticed. They need to have you pay and order first. Other than that, I will definitely eat here again!!!!“

“Held a group meeting here. The staff we're very nice and friendly. The food was very well prepared and was pretty good though I thought a little pricey. They had a nice meeting room that was separated from the restaurant so didn't even notice when the restaurant got super busy.“

“Looks like they may have lost their sign in a storm, so aim for the Indian supermarket next door!!GREAT food, but just getting started as a restaurant. This used to be Star Grill and I expect under new management. The staff were very friendly/helpful and the food was GREAT.There was not such a variety of menu choices as I might expect (e.g. no potato/cauliflower type dishes), but what we had tasted wonderful.The atmosphere is a work-in-progress, I hope they lose the canned sodas and refrigerator machines in favor of a more traditional style dine-in restaurant.Unusual to see a table-tennis table in the corner, but I expect it may be a leftover from the previous version of this place.The butter chicken was perfect, the biryani wonderful - but be conscious that some chicken dishes have bone-in chicken pieces.Go for the food, not the decor!“
