“The catfish spring rolls get all the attention, for good reason, but don’t skip out on their other dishes. Noodle soups and bun cha were amazing as well. If it wasn’t for the location being tucked away, this place deserves more traffic.“

“The pho was incredible. The broth was made to perfection. I loved the spring rolls made with shrimp and the peanut sauce. The ginger, lemon and raw honey drink was exceptionally good. Everything is exceptionally clean and beautiful. I will be back and bring my friends ❤️“

“Portion sizes were on the smaller side, but overall, I’d definitely come back. The meat was tender and well-cooked, and the overall quality of the ingredients seemed pretty decent. One unique thing about this place is that they don’t bring out the usual plate of bean sprouts, basil, and other garnishes that typically accompany pho.
The spring rolls were tasty — the pork especially stood out — though they were a bit smaller than expected. The atmosphere was pleasant and family-friendly, with a nice little play area for kids. Overall, a cool little spot worth checking out.“

“My husband and I were struggling to pick a place to eat in this cold weather, but one review (and the picture!) totally sold me. We ended up trying the trio sampler with meatballs, shrimp springroll, and the crunchy eggroll. The meatballs were a little small, but the flavor was on point. The price difference between a regular and large Pho is only $1…so of course we went big! Zero regrets — the Pho was delicious and perfect for this cold weather! Overall great service & food!“
“Huge recommendation, gotta come try authentic Vietnamese goods!! Lady is very kind!! Paying in cash has its advantages! Bought the chicken jerky, best one I have bought out of all the stores! Definitely a coming back to try everything else, they have to offer!“

They have a variety selections from rice to noodles to vermicelli bowl. Also have other stir fry as well.
They also sells pre-made side dishes as well.
The restaurant is clean and the staffs are really nice.“

“If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food, look no more fam. This stall is located inside the Saigon Mall food court in Garland.Their bun dau mam tom SLAPS. I mean wow, everything on the plate was so fresh and delicious. The tofu was still crispy even after about 20 minutes -- probably the best fried tofu I've had in a long time. The mam tom is hella dank, so if you're sensitive to smells, you may want to steer clear. I was told that I stunk up the whole house ?. I also ordered the banh canh cua and the bun mang vit. Both very good as well. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable. They do take cards. They also have a huge variety of prepared snacks, which I'll definitely have to check out next time. 10/10 highly recommend. Please stop by and show them some love!“

“Located inside the Saigon mall food court . Came here early morning for their cháo lòng specialty (rice porridge) . The owner is a nice older lady that’s very genuine and sweet . I asked her what’s her most popular dishes on the menu and it’s the cháo lòng and they are still cooking . I waited for 20 minutes while they are cooking but it’s worth it . This is my to go place for cure of the hangover or that awesome breakfast .“

“TLDR; food is amazing. Staff is great. Location is busy. Atmosphere is a bit cramped and noisy.
We ordered the V6 pork and shrimp vermicelli, P1 beef combo special, S1 Chicken soup, and Spicy Seafood soup.
All were amazing, delicious and fresh ... Though it took 30m to get the soups out, the vermicelli bowl came out in about 10 mins.“

“Pho Is For Lovers was so good. I had the beef pho, grilled pork banh mi, bún bò huế, and their fried rice and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The beef quality in the pho was amazing and they’re really generous with the protein portions, which I loved.
The banh mi was super flavorful, the bún bò huế had the perfect spicy kick, and the fried rice was honestly so satisfying. Also the staff was awesome, really friendly and made the whole experience even better.
I’ll definitely be back.“

“Kim Lan Food to Go
7/7/25:
This is where I go for Vietnamese nêm nướng. The bánh xèo here is crunchy thin with a decent amount of pork and shrimp too.
The down side is that this place is a to-go only food service. The bánh xèo can be reheated to crispness in an air fryer though. My mom would just buy the lettuce and herbs to eat with the bánh xèo at the market there.“

“Their bahn mi game is good. I enjoyed the bread and the sandwich had lots of whichever protein one ordered (I got the chicken and one grilled pork). I was there mid afternoon on a weekday and service was quick. Veggies were good although the cucumber did seem a little on the too ripe side but it was fine. They had just the right amount of jalapenos which I love. Overall my SO commented that they are a little on the sweet side and that is true but it wasn’t too much for me. The chicken and the pork both had good savory flavor but yes there is a bit of sweetness. The pork was in a flat meatball type format. I think you have to go with the buy three at $5 each and get one free deal which is what I did. I’ll need to do a taste test comparison with Quoc Bao to see which I prefer since it’s been a minute since I’ve ordered from them.“

“This restaurant has a pretty nice atmosphere and felt very welcoming. It's a nice place to hangout and eat with friends and the workers are very friendly. We got some spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee and they were really good. Our waitresses Joy was helpful and had a cute smile on her face everytime she comes by to check on us. Vanessa was really fun and easy to talk to. I enjoyed my visit here and will come again soon.“

“A good place for pho and family homemade food on Stacy Rd in Allen. A friendly and relaxing place to have quick lunch and dinner. They serve delicious pho noodle bowls, beef or chicken pho, fried rice and noodle dish and authentic Bun Bo Hey (Spicy Hue Pho). I came for a pho but saw they have a good looking bun bo hue. Gave it a try and it was good. Spiciness level at 9 but you can ask spicy level 5 or 6. I might have to come by for beef pho and summer shrimp rolls for full review. If you are Asian food lover, you find this place good with food Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Reasonable price and fast friendly service. Come by and check out yourself. The staffs are friendly, good server Sky and big shout to Duong, the chefs and family staffs. Good job keep Vietnamese to Allen community. Good food to enjoy but need improve cleanliness in restroom that would be 10/10. Highly recommend for visitors, local diner or Asian food lovers 🍜
Update: Come back for beef Pho. Very good and fresh. Highly recommended for any pho lovers.“

“Popped in tonight for some pho with the family, of course the kid had chicken fried rice...... smh.... He confirmed yumminess at the proper rice-a-tude levels and was very happy with his choice.
The wife had the shrimp pho and left the bowl cleaned to bottom. The report was tasty, brothy, and it didn't taste like a shrimp trawler parked on a salt lick. She was very happy indeed.
I had the beef pho, added in all the goodies including siracha. I chopsticked, slurped and spooned with abandon. It was awesome, subtle, and didn't taste like burning. I enjoyed myself big time.
The owner(?) was super nice and one hard werkin' pho maestro. Kudos to you my dude. Everyone left happy with a full belly and heart.“

“I recently dined at this charming Vietnamese restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that made the space feel cozy yet modern. The staff was attentive and friendly, offering great suggestions and making sure we felt taken care of throughout the meal.
We started with the fresh spring rolls, which were packed with herbs and shrimp and served with a perfectly balanced peanut sauce. The star of the night was the pho — rich, aromatic broth simmered to perfection, loaded with tender slices of beef and fresh toppings. You could tell it was made with care and tradition. The bun bo hue was another standout, spicy and deeply flavorful.
Their Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and sweet, just the way it should be. For dessert, the pandan waffle with coconut milk ice cream was a delicious surprise — crispy, fragrant, and light.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. This spot is a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese food. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends and family!“

This location served great duck Porridge for a long time. I think ownership changed after Covid.
However, I enjoyed their egg noodles soup. I’m happy they change their setup using real bowl instead of plastic one.
Great value for a quick soup noodle. I appreciate the self service method.

“Lua Kitchen is a fantastic Vietnamese spot in Garland that delivers on both flavor and presentation. The food is fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. We tried several dishes, including vermicelli bowls, rice plates with grilled meats, and a fried rice topped with a perfectly runny egg—everything was flavorful without being heavy. The bun dishes were especially good, with crisp veggies, tender meat, and a great balance of herbs, fish sauce, and crunch.
The menu has a wide variety of traditional options, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable for the quality. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and comfortable, making it great for casual dining or a relaxed meal with friends. Service was friendly and attentive.
If you’re looking for authentic, consistently good Vietnamese food in the area, Lua Kitchen is definitely worth a visit.“

“Com Bo luc lac (shaken Beef) was great. It comes with side of soup which is not pictured. Prepared with red onions, garlic cloves, mushrooms, and green peppers. I was not asked about the meat wellness but it was incredibly tender. If you need additional items or to pay the check, you’ll need to catch a waiter or walk to the cashier as I was not checked in on. It’s a smaller restaurant and the cashier was friendly. Would absolutely revisit for this meal.“

“Hear me out, I know this is a Pho place and yes the Pho is amazing but the coffee was incredible. I can drink a 300mg of caffeine bang and feel literally nothing. The coffee here was so strong it actually blew me away. It was also delicious. 10/10“

“This place has some BOMB cha lua. For you non-Viet folks, that's vietnamese pork - kind of like our version of ham. Put it in banh mi (bread). Eat it with banh cuon (rice rolls). Roll it into your spring rolls. Eat it with rice or vermicelli. Put it in your noodle soups! Heck, you can even eat it alone - it's that good. This stuff is awesome. This place has good quality cha lua and is cheaper than it's competitor across the street. The fam always stocks up on them and we store them in the freezer. It's located deep within the Hiep Thai plaza (if you're facing directly at Hiep Thai from the outside - it's located on the right).“

“This place is inside a Vietnamese market and I would have never known about it if it weren’t for my gf who suggested it. We got the #2 and I was really unsure about it because I am not really into super bready foods. Plus the bread looked really hard and distasteful but omg was I wrong.
The bread was light and crispy on the outside and super soft and buttery on the inside. I was literally shocked when I took my first bite. The meat was super tender and not overly salty. I am guessing they process the lunch meat onsite as well as the bread. Not to mention the pickled veggies on the inside were absolutely the perfect combination of flavors with the meat, bread, and fresh cilantro.
Highly recommend this place and they even open at 8am if you want to pick one up bright and early.
Also plenty of parking!“
