“My sincere thanks and compliments to Cafe Rio. We had a luncheon planned for a wedding at Highland Gardens just down the street. Unfortunately the caterer failed to show, leaving us with 70 plus hungry guests. We immediately sent people out to seek help. Cafe Rio immediately got to work and in just 30 minutes had put together numerous trays of high quality food to serve our guests. “I like the food. I found out you can find some things way cheaper on the value menu. There’s the double stacker on the value menu and if you add jalapeno sauce it’s literally a quesadilla for half the price. Same with the cheesy gordita crunch which has like the same thing on the value menu but with a different tortilla. I also tried that circular thing and didn’t really like it, kinda my fault cuz I forgot to ask for no tomatoes.“

“We have traveled quite a bit in Mexico over the years. Our favorite places to eat are small, home-owned, “hole in the wall” type eateries. Always good food, warm pleasant people and just a comfortable place to be. We found that at El Gallo Giro. No corporate rubber chicken sandwiches here. Drop by for a fine meal and a touch of Mexico. “If you’re looking for something a little different than your typical burrito place, give Bubbakoo’s Burritos in Orem a try. They have a great selection of Signature Creations, or you can build your own exactly how you want it.

I went with one of the Signature Creations, the Crispy Chicken Bacon Sriracha Ranch Quesadilla, and it was amazing. Great flavor, crispy on the outside, packed with flavor and some heat. My wife decided to create her own and ordered a grilled chicken Chiwawa. If you’re wondering what a Chiwawa is, it’s Bubbakoo’s signature Mexican fusion item, a deep fried, panko crusted cheesy rice ball that is smashed, topped with cheese and your choice of protein. I had to try a few bites of hers, and it was incredible.

We finished the meal with the Chocohaze empanada for dessert, and it did not disappoint. The crust was light and fluffy, and the flavor was sweet and divine.

“These al pastor tacos are incredible! The pineapple is always so fresh and the corn tortillas are on a whole other level. I tried the taco with cheese today and it was life changing!! Their tacos and meat are gluten free. Their quesadillas are massive and could easily feed 2 children maybe even 3. My picky eaters love the food here. And they have apple beer on fountain which is another favorite.“

My husband came by Don Joaquin's a few days ago and couldn't stop raving about it so I decided to join him there for lunch today.... let me tell you that I am so glad that I did! The restaurant is spacious, clean and they have some freezers with Popsicles, paletas and ice cream bars and fried doraditos by the ordering station. Menu is simple but sometimes that all you need right? I got the gringa combo, which has 3 tacos (al pastor, chicken and asada) with a drink and my husband got an asada burrito with a side of rice. I also got a slice of strawberry tres leches cake which was stellar! Every single bite was lovely; everything was flavored so well and was fresh! Definitely recommend if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed!“

“Motel West has a fun ambience and delicious food. The chips and guacamole were a wonderful start to the meal. The guacamole had green apple which was an unexpected and great addition. My entree was the carne on a stick - the meat was tender and the homemade chimichurri was fantastic! I highly recommend visiting Motel West.“

“During coronavirus quarantine we try to Order from this place every week. Yesterday, was pretty crazy. The governor just asked people to stay home. People were lined up to pick up food. Your amazing employees were doing their best. Everyone was stressed and some customers took it out on the very people trying to serve them.
