“Great products and great service. What more can you ask for? My story if you’re interested in the extent this small bakery goes through for service. I live in Idaho. My parents in West Jordan. I like to get them treats on occasion. Getting a good product, you never see and getting it to them at the right time has been the challenge. This latest occasion was for Father's Day 2023. I looked up some local bakeries on google that I hoped could deliver in time and had good reviews. I didn't know what to expect when I got in touch with the Flour Box Bakery. It was after hours when I sent a message on their website, expecting to be contacted the next day. I received a message from Gienie (pronounced Jenny if I'm not mistaken) at 9:42 PM that night. We texted and agreed Friday at 9AM to talk. As agreed, she called me on time. Of course, as timing goes, I wasn’t available to talk. She texted me again to follow up. We texted and talked and all of it was smooth and helpful. Initially I was looking for delivery but upon ordering I had a change of plans. I bounced back and forth between pickup and delivery a few times. Gienie was amazing and patient with her accommodations. Not only did she take care of what I needed, she gave great advice. She texted me when the baking was completed and another when it was delivered. She also threw in a few favorites as “extras” at no charge, which was not necessary but appreciated. I didn't get to personally taste the product being in Idaho. I did confirm with my parents who gave rave reviews on the baked goods and friendliness of servcie. I look forward to trying other products and will be ordering more on my next trip to visit. Thank you Gienie.“

“ordered cookies here for the first time and was really happy with everything. I have vasovagal syncope so it's hard for me to go into places that doesnt have cool air or places to sit. I called ahead and asked them if i could place an order and use my giftcard . the employee was so nice and walked back and forth to my car for my order and payment. no complaints and she was smiling. cookies were all amazing. I got one of each and cant pick a favorite cause I loved all of them. I will definitely keep coming to this location and order again in the future. thank you for being aweosme and the best part, smiling... it's always good to see smiling employees!“

“Words can’t express how amazing Mandy is! She did our wedding cake and it was flawless. It looked stunning and was exactly what we had dreamed of. Mandy is so sweet, fast to communicate, and shows you that she enjoys what she is doing. Not only did it look amazing but it was beyond delicious!! We have had SO many friends texting us that it was the best cake they have ever had and family members fighting for the few leftover slices. If you need a cake don’t consider anyone but Mandy. She will make it perfect from start to finish 😊“

The wonderful young man let me know that I would save more if I ordered the 6 cookies as a whole in a box instead of separately.

I informed him I needed the cookies in individual boxes for friends.😊He said they offer individual boxes for is to assemble and gave me the 4 as promised. (Ate the other 2👀).

Was very grateful 🙏 When I tipped him with cash, he asked if I was sure. If course I was! Thats the 2nd time he helped me when I went there the last time!

“I attended one of Austin’s sourdough classes and it was fantastic! Whether you are a beginner, or already a sourdough baker, you will walk away learning something new. Austin takes you through the entire baking process. You’ll learn some new tips and tricks, get your hands covered in dough, and enjoy some delicious bread at the end. That Jalapeño-Cheddar is to die for! I’ve already been baking it at home!“

“I absolutely LOVE Rise By Good Day! Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“I originally was placing an order with another bakery in SLC 3 weeks ahead. They canceled because I didn’t respond over the weekend even though I was in constant contact about details of the cake for a full week and a half prior to them canceling on me. I’m grateful they cancelled. I was nervous since my daughter specifically told me she wants a fondant cake. I wasn’t sure if anyone would do it so late. Sprinkle Me Frosted took my order no problem and I didn’t even give her much details about the cake I wanted. I said fondant layer and flowers in buttercream since I know buttercream probably easier to do. I was ordering so late. She went above and beyond and did some flowers buttercream but did the daisies fondant. She decorated the cake so beautifully not to mention the cake was moist and so delicious. The fondant daisies ended being my kids favorite to peel them off and eat like candy! Thank you for the amazing cake. Unfortunately I’m iffy when it comes to beautiful cakes because I’ve had some where the cake crumbles like a dry cookie but this was a delicious and beautiful fun cake!“

“Great service. Nice and approachable. I generally don't like these types of bakeries because I think all the pastries look good but they then are dry and not sweet enough. But these were good. I had a braided pastry with nut and cream which was good. The tres leches cake my husband had, (he said) wasn't that great. But we got a great deal on a bag of pastries.“

“Google says they’re open till midnight. That’s just the bar. Kitchen closes earlier, maybe 8 pm? Huge disappointment. I was fully relying on this place for dinner since they have gluten free options. Had to walk all the way back to A terminal for CPK.

Aside from that, their gluten free options are really good. I’ve eaten from Gourmandise multiple times (once at this location, other times not at the airport) and I’ve always liked it. Good coffee too.“
