“Love the food here and the servers are great but after being here for an hour, the manager actually came to our table and told us to leave. Said the wait list is long and we can go to the lobby to socialize. By the way the lobby was nearly empty. We asked to talk to the manager, he said he was it and when we asked if he was serious, he chuckled and said yes. We even left an extra $20 for the server because we knew we’d be here longer. We are a paying table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant - this is not how you treat your customers. Not a good practice to get people to come back. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!“

There were some issues with my method of payment and it was handled honestly quite amazingly. “Been coming here for years and not much has changed. Delicious double play with a side of French toast. Located across Liberty Park on 13th south this diner delivers no frill breakfast and brunch. It can be a bit chaotic inside but it didn’t seem to bother the multiple families and couples from getting their brunch on. Arrive early as there is often a wait but it is well worth it!“

“Absolutely amazing food and wonderful service. Both times I have been there, the waitress has been friendly, patient, and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. But the food tops it all! Close to authentic flavors and great ingredients. The menu has food ingredients and descriptions in English, so don't be afraid to try something new.“

“This place is so delicious! I got the Thanksgiving feast sandwich and OMG it was amazing! I’m not usually a fan of thanksgiving stuff but it doesn’t taste too overly spiced up and done. “I'm very happy with my experience at Village Inn. Here's the details:

1. I was seated very promptly.
2. It wasn't too loud there (but that might be because I got there early, around 9pm).
3. The food was delicious, especially the pancakes. Usually when I go to a breakfast place the pancakes are too dry, but not here. They were buttery and fluffy, the way all happy pancakes should be. :)
4. The prices are reasonable. I got the 2-2-2 breakfast which when I went was $9.99.“

Multiple filling options. We had the ham & cheese empanada and cordon blue pollo empanada. Both with plenty of tasty filling and big enough that I could only eat half.
If you are in the mood for a great empanada, it's totally worth the stop.“

“Loved this adorably quaint cafe!! Walking in you immediately notice the unique decor and style. Its set up is similar to most cafes with table seating and the cooking area is visible to all.

The service was excellent!! Sat down and immediately were greeted and brought drinks. Once we ordered our food, it was on our table within about 10 minutes!! We couldn’t believe how quickly it came!! I ordered the French Toast combo while my fiancé had the Cottonwood Special Omelette. Everything came out hot and just as ordered. We were pleasantly surprised by how big the pieces of meat were in the omelette.

Overall, this was a FANTASTIC dining experience!! We went on a Sunday afternoon (walked in around 1:00 PM). We were seated immediately, received fast service, and even though they closed within an hour of our arrival, we never felt rushed. We will be back and can’t wait to try the Club sandwich.“

Parking: Only a few handicap spots. They could definitely use some more.We had to park farther away than I would have liked.

Wheelchair accessibility: It was a little tight for my husband's transport chair, but they were awesome opening the doors for us coming and going.“
