My wife and I travel up and down the Wasatch front We have visited many a breakfast house or restaurants that serve breakfast and have been disappointed to say the least. As we were driving through the town of Murray I remember the village inn so we stopped in to the village in and then (little poetry for y'all) decided to have their breakfast which as usual was very good I had chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and pancakes My wife had one of their skillets I had a orange juice, she had a coffee and it was just a good old-fashioned very tasty breakfast and it was Wednesday and after 10:00 in the morning it's free pie Wednesday They also have great pies I just have to tell you it's also a restaurant that actually gives you salt and pepper shakers cuz the salt and pepper really does come out without having to unscrew the lid and dribble it over your food in fact if you go there and you use the salt and pepper shakers it comes out really fast but that's okay with me It was great. So if you have a village inn and your town near you I highly recommend going there and just having a good old-fashioned breakfast.”

“First time at Cupbop and I was seriously impressed! The bowl was HUGE with plenty of beef and a great mix of veggies — super filling and flavorful. The noodles were really good too.

The service made the experience even better. Since it was my first visit, the cashier took the time to explain everything and even gave me a few sauces to try, which I really appreciated. I’d 100% recommend getting the spicy sauce with their mayo combo — so good.

“If you live in Salt Lake, you already know the Greek burger vibe Astro, Apollo, Crown… and now Olympus Burger was my latest stop. Honestly, they’re all part of that same local tradition, and I love it every single time.

There’s just something about a charbroiled beef patty stacked with hot pastrami, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and that signature sauce that hits differently. It’s messy in the best way. The pastrami on top of the burger is what makes these places special that salty, smoky flavor with the flame-grilled beef is classic Utah comfort food.

Olympus Burger definitely delivered on that. The burger was exactly what I expected — juicy, flavorful, and satisfying.

The only thing I personally didn’t love was the fries. They’re thick-cut, crispy on the outside, but inside they’re very soft, almost like a baked or boiled potato texture. Some people might love that, but it’s just not my style.

Overall though, if you like the Greek-style pastrami burger scene, Olympus fits right in. To me, Astro, Apollo, Crown, and Olympus all bring that same nostalgic flavor and I’m a fan of all of them.”

Though it was a little strange how much one of the workers kept coming over to our table and cleaning things up as we were just trying to talk ( in a group of about 8 of us). Alsmost felt like she was trying to get us to leave, but we had not been there super long. And the place was mostly empty. So maybe she was just trying to be attentive. Not sure, but it kept messing with our ability to just relax and have a nice conversation over our meal.”
