“This place is GREAT. Our waitress Reena (sp?) was efficient, attentive, and very sweet. We split a 3 egg omelet and instead of toast, opted for a biscuit and gravy. When the order came, it was already split in two, so we each had our own portions, which was awesome. The food was delicious, and my coffee never went below half a cup before someone was right there to refill it. My favorite meal to go out for is breakfast, so I know a good place when I've been there-- this more than fits the bill, and we will be back!“

“Super cute little restaurant. It's right behind the B&B in the cottage house. Order at the counter and choose a seat abs they'll deliver it to you. The Johnnycake skillet was amazing and very filling. Their drinks are delicious and super cute. It's small so hot aren't talking over a million people which is nice. I can't wait to visit in the spring and sit outside!“

“We came here for brunch for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was also our first time coming here. The food was absolutely delicious AND we got a free dessert for her birthday. Not only was it free, it was a delicious, house-made crème brûlée! We will definitely be coming back!“

“Found this little gem from a simple Google search and I’m already addicted! My friend and I enjoyed breakfast there and we’re already planning a return trip. Who cares that it’s an hour away from home, it’s worth the drive! I had the granola pancake (🤤) and my friend had the strawberry french toast special (equally delicious). We also took home cinnamon and raspberry rolls (to die for). Give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did!“

“I want to start by saying that this is a really beautiful cafe. While there are some issues such as a corner table that is effectively impossible to get in and out of if someone is seated at the table next to it, the place is beautifully bright, and clean. I enjoyed the time I spent there, but it did get busier, and subsequently louder. It would definitely benefit from some wall decorations to help break up the sound.

Otherwise, it is excellent! The menu is small but all the items we have had so far have been good. The coffee and tea lattes are excellent every time, and the staff are all very polite.“

“A favorite of mine since I lived in the avenues 15 years ago, this coffeeshop has the best community feeling, the most lively energy, and most laidback vibe. Lots of seating for a small space, and more comfortable than most. I love to write here, and this is one of those places where I mysteriously do my best work. Even though it's not quiet, the ambient noise is perfect.

My favorite drink is dairy-free dirty chai Cubano-style. The flavors of chai, espresso, brown sugar, and cinnamon are like angels serenading my taste buds. I love the artwork, and how the community board is right up front.

The only negative is that it's kind of impersonal to order on a tablet. I don't mind, since ordering food or drink gives me low-grade social anxiety, but I know customers who feel a lack of connection. The ordering system has the potential to cause confusion, like when I bring a personal cup, they don't use it. That is my one critique.“

“I absolutely LOVE Rise By Good Day! Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options come to mind, though I can't recall if they were clearly labeled. The staff was amazing and I'm sure they would be helpful in pointing out options.

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to lavender and the staff was very vigilant in checking their tea for lavender to make sure it was safe for me to drink. I really appreciate that!

Parking: The building is a little hidden but there is plenty of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: The building is not wheelchair accessible. If you have some mobility there are three stairs to get into the building and they have main floor seating but there is a big staircase to the second floor. So I would call to see which rooms are the most accessible.“

“Sugar Space is so great! It was 1.5 miles from the Koa where I was staying and I wasn’t sure if it was worth the walk, it’s got a great little coffee shop/ cafe, the food and drinks are nice, Edgar the barista is sooooo sweet and accommodating and the owners are really great. They have good speed internet to get some work done and even a play area for kids. The owners were so kind and welcoming! It was the best part of my visit to Salt Lake!“

“This place is a gem if you can find it. Small, no frills food counter with outstanding breakfast and coffee. Machaca eggs and chicken fried steak and eggs were off the charts.

Parking: It's located above a trucking parts and service counter so parking is limited.“

“Sharon's is a classic, comfort oriented breakfast and lunch spot. Reasonably priced, quick service, reliably delicious. I recommend it to anyone in Holladay looking for a casual and no-fuss bite to eat. Traditional American breakfast menu, thoughtful dietary and vegetarian options, really a good call from every aspect.

“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great.
