**Update** A manager contacted me to discuss my review. I gave her all of the details and she apologized and invited us back with a gift card. I told her I didn’t want anything, I just wanted to be heard and to let those workers know how their customer service needs to be improved. She offered us the gift card to “make things right”. I appreciate her sincerity and will try again in the near future.“

“October 13, 2022, my sister and I went to Leatherby's for lunch at 12:10 p.m. We order a Philly cheese steak sandwich, and we waited 20 minutes for it, it was barely warm. It had hardly and meat, green peppers, onions on it! I said to the waiter this Philly cheese steak sandwich was on the Menu said The BEST Seller. It had nothing is on it; he took it back and (they probably spit on it) when came back it STILL hardly had any meat etc. on it! It was the worst Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!!! Service VERY Poor! “We had yet another delicious meal and fantastic experience at Franklin Ave last night. The design and decor are absolutely stunning, and the staff from the door person to the host to the servers and managers were all so friendly and knowledgeable. We started off with the chips and whipped feta, hamachi crudo, snap peas, and ribs. All were delicious in their own rite. For the main course, I had the pasta special which included handmade pappardelle noodles, duck, oyster mushrooms, and a spicy red sauce. Yum! The miso cod, bolognese, and fish sandwich were also ordered and everyone in our group was over the moon with their selections. For dessert we shared the maple pecan respado - a must try dessert! Cocktails were amazing per usual.“

So get off the couch and please get to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade you will be happy you did... also get on the wait list before you get there it's a busy place because it is great“

“I recently got pushed out of my favorite restaurant due to bad service (they'll drop the check when I'm halfway done with my food) and restaurant management ( arguing with me about having to charge me for food I didn't even order). Tonight really was a breath of fresh air. The hostess sat me the moment I walked in the door and had nice welcoming chat as we walked. The server was very accommodating to my household dietary needs and the manager on duty was very eager to hear about my recommendation for taking care of the plants in the foyer (I garden as a hobby and love plants). The hostess also asked if she could take my plates off the end of the table, on her way back from seating another table. Tonight was the experience that I seek in a restaurant.

And the buffalo cauliflower was absolutely amazing. I'm a bit disappointed that there's no longer a sweet chili sauce.“

“My family comes here everytime after we go dirt biking and we love it! The food is delicious, and always very quickly served. The new pumpking spice shake was also a wonderful blend, and wasnt overpowering. The workers kind, very personable and efficient. Clean facility.

“Great experience at Spud Toddos! The menu had so many tempting options—it was hard to choose because everything looked amazing. We ended up trying the chili baked potato, the poutine, and the turkey dinner, and everything was delicious and super filling.

My Canadian husband was especially impressed with the poutine—he said it reminded him of home and would definitely come back just for that taste he’s been missing. We’ll absolutely be returning to try more!“

“Been coming here for years and not much has changed. Delicious double play with a side of French toast. Located across Liberty Park on 13th south this diner delivers no frill breakfast and brunch. It can be a bit chaotic inside but it didn’t seem to bother the multiple families and couples from getting their brunch on. Arrive early as there is often a wait but it is well worth it!“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

I am sure they are up to code, but maybe don't grab the inside of a sauce container when you go to fill it with sauce, after touching the filthy payment screen? Will go again nonetheless.“
