“I enjoyed dining at this pupuseria. It was the first time I had been back since it was called the Magic Skillet years ago. Luckily, the restaurant still has all of breakfast menu items from back in the day Plus some classic Latin dishes. My friend ordered the traditional southwest omelet. I ordered a chicken pupusa, a tamal and a taco Al pastor. The pupusa was a 5/5. It was amazing! The tamal and taco were good, 4/5. My friend loved his menu choice. Prices are very fair as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Traveling from Massachusetts, this was our first time at Taqueria Al Lado II — and it absolutely blew us away. We started with chips, guac, salsa, and queso — every dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The tacos (beef and carnitas) were phenomenal, each with distinct, authentic seasoning. The quesabirria was rich and cheesy, and the rice rounded the meal off perfectly. Bruno, our server, was outstanding — friendly, fast, and genuinely made the experience better. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and for the quality of food, the prices are unbeatable. Easily a 5-star stop. We’ll be talking about this place back in MA.“

“Open late and everything tasted so fresh and authentic! We were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and a friend recommended Picamas since they lived nearby. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was so good. The tortilla was really soft and the chicken was so flavorful and went really well with the rice and veggies in the burrito. The owner was so friendly and they really made an effort to prepare our meal for us. Overall great food and we’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. “Hey, you guys I went here for my first time. I’m from LA. I’m used to Mexican food and not many places are out here but this one wild taco place with Greek catch my eye seen the pictures online and they look freaking good so I decided to go in And buy my surprise. There was only three people it was empty and the people were white, so I’m asking myself OK I wonder how this is gonna taste but the service was magnificent. Very nice. The lady explained to me the menu which was extremely helpful and nice and when I got my food, it was to go. I couldn’t wait. I ordered a Greek taco. Holy moly. I am in love this Greek taco the beef all the vegetables. Everything was just outstanding beautifully marinated meat and then I had a quesadilla holy moly it was a giant and very, very good a little bit greasy But other than that, they put a good portion of meat cheese total experience with this place one out of 10 I give it a solid nine and I don’t do that for anybody. This just surprise me who was cooking the food which was a young teenager that look like but wowthe ingredients in the food were fresh outstanding beautiful combination and good. “It's an absolute MUST if you love Americna twists on traditional delicious Mexican food. I just arrived a few hours ago from Mexico, so I'm coming from good authority when I say you HAVE GOT TO try this place. The salsas were a little underwhelming, but the rest of the menu is stellar! The bar tender was a gem and even handled a Karen very respectfully but was hilarious. It was a clean, fun, and overall wonderful experience with food, staff, and atmosphere.“

The shawarma meat is a bit tough to eat in a taco so I think they should work on making the meat a bit softer otherwise the food was good. “1st time trying there tacos. Ordered one carne asada and 1 bulgogi. The carne asada was average. I really enjoyed the bulgogi with their side sauce. Was like a yum yum sauce with a slight kick. There other sauces were good too. The red one was extra hot! I did go for lunch on a Sunday. Would recommend breakfast tacos/burritos!!! Maybe a brunch themed menu on the weekends. “Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“
