My oatmeal raisin cookie had the perfect reason to cookie ratio, I can tell they spent time in the lab on that one. If you're walking M street after a good meal this is a place that I'd recommend stopping into for a nice dessert.“

“This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. Everything was delicious, loved the decor, service was friendly and bathrooms were clean.“

We were invited to a German Christmas Market Themed party — very specific I know… Since it was a potluck, we decided to make currywurst. Heidelberg’s brats for the recipe were so good. We also grabbed their huge soft pretzel (yum) and their curry spread (double yum). Whether you go sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. Love this bakery!“

Where it could use improvement is having the staff trained to be more friendly and customer service oriented. Though the cafe was not busy, the staff was not friendly. Fixing this one piece would help the cafe continue to shine.

“We had an incredible experience working with Chocolate Passion Pastry for our wedding cake! He spent hours perfecting a custom logo design for us, and the final product was stunning. On top of his prompt communication, he uses truly high-quality ingredients—the flavor was amazing. We were absolutely blown away by the intricate, edible flower designs he was able to create at this scale. Highly recommended!“

Such a shame- vegetarian spots in dc are hard to come by- there are countless other places that serve chicken tacos. Such a shame, as I always brought all our friends and family here!
