“If you’re a quiche lover, go here—seriously. I had the bacon and pimento quiche, and it was incredible. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the visit. The café itself is absolutely charming—quaint and beautiful both outside and in.

That said, the vibe was a little off. I sat at one of the tables, and because of the woven design, it was pretty dirty—which was surprising and disappointing since they had just opened for the day. It kind of broke the magic of the space.

They were playing “Tell Me Something Good,” and mid-song, it got switched to something way more drab. It felt symbolic of the whole experience: everything looks and sounds great at first, but a closer look reveals something less inviting. It didn’t feel like a place meant for people to linger or settle in.

Still, I’d go back for that quiche alone. Maybe the vibe will shift with time, but for now—it’s more of a grab-and-go kind of spot, not one I’d stay and soak in.“

“Excellent burger, one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. There was no option to cook the burger "medium", but, have no fear. I selected "cooked through" and it was a perfect medium. This will be my go-to for lunch when I'm in the office.“

“Sat at the sushi bar, so had dinner and a show. The show was good, the dinner was great. Yume is in an interesting space, open with lots of windows, a high ceiling, and very high energy, read LOUD. This is not your sedate, high-end, reverent sushi restaurant, but a vibrant lively place, which doesn't mean the sushi is in any way inferior. Even at the sushi bar the ordering is through a waitress/waiter not directly with the sushi chefs. That was a slight disappointment, having no interaction with the chefs, but perhaps to be expected with the size of the crowd that was there on Friday night. We ordered in stages because, this being the first time, we did not know how much would be enough. In the end what we ordered was just right. The service was paced just right, never rushed but available when needed. The baby octopus salad was bright and citrusy, and slightly chewy, in a good way. The simple nigiri in the Sushi Dinner, 10 pieces, were very fresh and tasty. The special nigiri we had, Otoro, was imaginative and excellent - wasabi and truffle make a great pairing and the bit of caviar was just the right touch. The Yume roll was top flight, spicy but, to coin a phrase, not too spicy, and the fish did shine through. We will definitely be going back.“

They gave him the most delicious donuts and Lizz made really excellent dish recommendations. We will return for sure!!“

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “Such a cute spot! It was pretty busy when I arrived, but the vibe was still great. I ordered a vanilla latte, which was smooth and delicious. I also tried the avocado toast on their homemade focaccia. Really tasty, though I think a touch of salt or more flavorful pickled onions could have taken it up a notch. I had my eye on the strawberry matcha, but they were out of matcha that day. Still, it was a lovely experience overall and I’d definitely come back!“

We came all the way from Baltimore and plan on making this a regular stop. My wife and I split the wedge salad and the 32oz cowboy ribeye. It was perfection.“

I cannot thank you enough for setting it all up and for working so closely with them to sculpt the menu, arrange for the upstairs and deliver the hot and delicious food so swiftly upon our arrival – our pre-order menu worked perfectly, and you and your wait staff went above and beyond to be so accommodating. My teachers were stunned at the quality of the food and the ambiance and said it was their top ranked choice of all the places we ate. I am uncertain what the school’s plans are for next year, but if I or the school returns to the DC/VA area, I will certainly call upon you and return to La Bettola. “Sushi garden is a “hidden” gem. The sushi is amazing, customer service is good, and it’s fairly priced. I’ve been to a few other local sushi places like bluefish bistro and kussi sushi to name a few. They do not compare. The food they have on the menu outside sushi is also delicious. “Our latest visit to Circa in Clarendon gave us good reason to dine at Circa more often; one member of our group opted for the three-course Restaurant Week lunch, and the other member had the seared tuna salad on the a la carte menu. The two you ladies both greeted me and walked me through the different variety of cookies they had to offer —also shared their personal favorites and why, my cookie selection was a great one - I enjoyed my cranberry white chocolate cookie! They also have weekly features! The establishment was very clean and welcoming and definitely worth a visit next time you are in the area or just to come by and grab a delicious cookie or two! The cookies are very moist and filled with delicious types of chocolates - they even have an oatmeal cookie!“

“I happened to be at The Renegade two weeks ago. I love country music so I thought it could be a great idea to show my brother this restaurant. We came from Spain and discovered this place! What we didn’t know is that we would meet Paul, who took care of us and “tour us around” their menu and options. The food was delicious and healthy as well! Artichokes, hummus, cauliflower and the chicken were amazing! My brother is vegetarian so they prepared a pad thai for him and he really enjoyed it. After dinner, was time to look everybody dancing on the floor… With the perfect atmosphere! I wish I could post some pictures!!
