“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to“

“One of my favorite places for lunch! While they mainly offer salads, there are choices of warm bowls and grilled wraps too—you can get it as is, or have it customized. Lots of toppings to pick from. Good variety of dressings too, and if you need, they can give you a sample of the dressing to try first.

Staff are friendly and efficient. Even during the lunch rush, I never have to wait too long, the line moves fairly quick. If it’s your first time here, I suggest looking over the menu first so you’re not holding up the line looking at all the topping choices, it can be overwhelming. Also, they have a good amount of seating—benches, high tops and tables, and a few tables outside.“

“This beat some of the NY style slices I had even in New York. Just the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. Perfectly sized pepperoni cups. A gorgeous toasty feeling to the freshly heated slice. Started with 3 slices between 2 people and essentially ended up eating a whole pie. Staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. Great brews on tap and a few salads and sides on the menu to go with the pies. Can’t wait to come back“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. “We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! Wish we could have stayed in DC longer as I would have loved to try the other menu items.“

“This is our go to spot for week night dinner! My son wanted Papusas while I wanted a steak and cheese (get the royal with the avocado!! Soooo good!) everyone can get what they want for very reasonable prices.

“I like Chopt salads and especially like the kiosks in this location. It greatly speeds up getting your order.

My only complaint is that they need to stop letting homeless people come in and sleep at the tables. A woman was asleep at a table for over half an hour without buying anything. Nobody said anything while paying customers had nowhere to sit.“

“This is the best Chopt in DC. The atmosphere feels welcoming and when you walk in I was greeted by two respectful employees of this establishment. I am a vegan and sometimes my options are limited so Karen and Yessica guided me to pick the Chopt Greek with Falafel. They were very fast and very efficient. They took good care of me and I left Chopt satisfied. The salad was delicious, the establishment was clean, & I would rate 10/10!!! Everyone should come down to eat at this Chopt.“

“I've been a happy customer at the Courthouse location for 5 years. The staff are super nice and caring! The food is always delicious and prepared beautifully..recommend the falafel bowl, tofu salad, Greek yogurt items, smoothies, avocado toast, soup, and cookies. Very fresh ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“

The atmosphere and food quality are great; plus the customizable “create your own” options.Only caveat/downside is that the cost can add up really quickly with the DIY options. (My $8 Red Curry Noodles went up to $18 when I swapped tofu for Chicken and added shrimp).It still tasted really good, though. Next time I want to try one of their salads (they’re huge!!!). “I love Chopt Salad, and I come to this location at least once a week. The ingredients are always so fresh. What I am disappointed in is the service after 3pm. I walk in at 545pm and only 2 people ahead of me, and 4 gentleman behind the counter. Grant it they are cleaning up, but ignoring customers, and leave one gentleman to pack salads, chop, and ring customers is unacceptable. Bad customer service will definitely have me going next door to roti.“
