“Dumpling District is in the back of Luna Food Hall. It's a cozy spot with tables and couches. There's also bubble tea, ice cream, and a bar here to go along with your meal. They made the dumplings fresh in front of us and they were amazing. The one thing I didn't like was the stir-fry noodles because it didn't have much flavor. “I stumbled upon this place out of convenience and have brought everyone I know here since. Parking is really easy because you can park in the Harris teeter parking garage. The place is very nice on the inside, lighting is great, decore is cool, a pretty small cute place. The waitress was attentive and kind when we had questions or needed some more extra stuff like chili oil. The pho here is the best I’ve had and my friends agree that’s its top tier (they are pho snobs). The broth by itself is flavorful and they don’t skimp on portions. The beef was great and there were so many noodles that were cooked nicely in the pho. I’ve been to about 5 didn’t pho places in the area and this is the best one to me. Now, I got the wings for jokes but was shocked about how good they were. Juicy, crisp, and flavorful. I recommend and bring all my friends here and they echo all the same sentiments. “I first started dining at Sala Thai restaurant back in 2018 at the Minnesota Ave location, where I instantly fell in love with their chef fried rice and crispy calamari, among other menu items. When I moved to NE, I made the Rhode Island Row location my new go-to spot and have been a regular visitor ever since, indulging in their delicious Thai iced tea and sushi rolls almost daily. My absolute favorite dish is the Mei Fun (without pork or seafood), and I also enjoy their tofu with spicy basil fried rice, curry puffs, spring rolls, and an assortment of specialty rolls. Lately, I've noticed a significant improvement in their interior, menu offerings, and the quality of service, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. They have amazing options!My aunt got the whole chicken with 4 sides for $34 and I got the whole chicken with 2 sides for $28 (I think). They also have an option for a whole chicken 1/2 with 6 sides for $50! We didn't go with that option only because she was buying for her family and I was buying for mine. Sides are good portions and you have the option to choose between 4 individual sauces or a bigger container for the green and yellow sauce. The place is located in a busy shopping center so parking can be limited. Would recommended calling ahead if you do not plan on eating there only because of the parking situation! Overall the place is small, more suitable for smaller parties. It is very clean and well organized.
