“A hidden gem! We were the only ones eating in on a rainy Saturday afternoon, but several people came in for pick up orders. The Testaccio and Tartufo sandwiches and hot latte we got were excellent. It was less than 5 minutes before we had our food and coffee. Hot and flavorful, with delicious fluffy focaccia bread. Enough food to eat half the sandwich and take home the rest. Clean, comfortable low tables and other high-top seating we didn't try.“

The staff made us feel right at home immediately, and one of my favorite highlights was the complimentary hot tea they provided right as we sat down. Looked like they were making online orders and only servicing a handful of people so it should have been a quick in and out but it wasn’t. I observed this team led by James execute orders online and in person, with professionalism. James had a customer who demanded a refunded from the day before that he wasn’t aware of and assisted her until she was satisfied. Offered her options and provided excellent customer service. Aside from the normal hustle and bustle during the lunch rush which I assume can be a challenge daily, James made sure to take care of each individual customer ensuring the team was meeting expectations. The team was friendly and polite even when I witnessed a customer being rude and disrespectful. When folks are making your food, it’s not a bad idea to be kind.
