“Hello, I just went through the drive-through to get sweet tea for my wife and two-year-old son. As I pulled into the parking lot, the woman at the podium handing out receipts gave me a dirty look, possibly because of my loud exhaust. I proceeded to the line to order my beverage, and while I waited, she handed receipts to the two cars in front of me but stared at me and my car with the same look. She didn’t offer me a receipt, which my wife needs to scan for points on an app that helps us financially. I had to ask for one when I got to the window to pick up my drink. I noticed this number on the receipt, which belongs to the operator, Jason Umberger. I believe the employee may need some coaching on maintaining professionalism and not letting personal judgments affect her behavior at work. As a manager for a company in Virginia that sponsors VCU, the Flying Squirrels, and many others, I understand the importance of professional conduct in the workplace. This was 8/22/23 @ 6:19PM.“

I placed a large order just 30 minutes before closing—four chicken sandwiches, a 20-piece chicken tender meal, and their amazing honey biscuits—and everything was fresh, hot, and made to order. That kind of care and quality, especially so close to closing time, really impressed me. The food? Top-tier. The chicken sandwiches were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tenders were juicy with a golden crunch. “We got the reaper chicken and JACLYN was the BEST server of all time. She was there for me at my lowest and with me at my highest. Jaclyn I will never forget you and your outstanding service. “I love bb.q Chicken ever since I first tried them in NYC. I was so happy fond that we also had a location close to Richmond, VA. Their chicken never disappoints. Always tasty and crunchy. Best Korean fried chicken and even better than Bonchon.“

“After reading the reviews I decided to just get the chicken and biscuits. The drive thru line was around the corner! I went in and walked out less than 5 minutes with my order. Pro-tip, it’s not a lot of people inside and two cashiers. Chicken was delicious with the biscuits, hot and fresh!“

“Wife wanted to slide by the ice cream place and then the Short Pump location here for dinner. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I saw the “Red Beard’s Ghost” sauce and was contemplating it on some wings. The guy at the counter gave me a sample, and it was smooth with just a little heat. Flavorful. The ghost lured me in. I thought, no problem, I can handle this. I was wrong. So wrong. At home, I bit into a wing and suddenly I wasn’t in my kitchen anymore. I was on the deck of a pirate ship in the middle of a hurricane. My tongue was battling a flaming cutlass, my eyes were crying mutiny, and my soul was begging for mercy. Somewhere in the distance, I swear I heard a pirate laughing. This sauce didn’t just sneak up on me……it cannonballed into my mouth and raised its flag on my taste buds. Within minutes, I was sweating like I owed Red Beard back taxes in doubloons. 10/10 staff. 10/10 wings. 15/10 chance of seeing visions of pirate ghosts in your living room if you order this sauce. Would recommend… if you’re brave enough. So glad I had ranch to finish it all of… but now I’m scared of what will follow…dun dun duuun“

“Menu choice was consistent as in past visits, however this visit was a bit disappointing overall. Slipping and falling while turning the corner to the restrooms was not how I expected to end the visit. While attempting to get up, noticed entirely too much water left on the floor (same as in restroom), and NO "wet floor" signage placed. I alerted a staff member of what happened and that signage needs to be up. Staff needs to ensure to NOT leave excessive water when mopping and throw up signs.“

“They have freshly made corn tortillas chips that are delicious. Ordered the tortilla chips with a red salsa and white queso dip. Everything was tasty. I ordered the Mi Rey platter that comes with the ribeye steak, grilled shrimp, and the piri quarter leg chicken. Got a side of avocado and the Jamaica drink. Everything was five stars: the food and the service. I will definitely need to return and try some desserts.... 😋“

“Went through the drive thru for a simple chicken sandwich and sweet tea. There were at least 8-9 cars in line ahead of me.
There were more but I couldn't see around the building. However, the employees at ChicFilA are always fast, friendly and very efficient! They had someone outside taking orders and collecting payment for our food. I was able to get my sandwich and tea in record time; considering how many cars were ahead of me. SUPER JOB TO ALL THE EMPLOYEES! 😁“

“Surprise! I am neightherca salad person nor a chicken. But on that day after the doctors visit I was hungry, and did not want to eat anything heavy. I could not think of other popular chain stores, as they are monotonous, all taste one taste, that is salt.
I stopped by the nearest Chicken Salad Chick with a lot of hesitation, but lest with fulfillment. They are the place and food multi- tasting in one plate. A scoop, some salad, loaded with crackers, and sweet grape salad, and amazing dessert which is much more than cookie. Servers were very energetic and funny. They have a history of making the place, to know the history you need to go there.“

“I work at a nearby building and come here for breakfast/lunch many times a week (not the healthiest I know I’m working on meal prepping okay lol) and they’re always kind and courteous and I never really have issues. Today I placed a pick up order for my breakfast and someone apparently just took it before I got in. Even though I came after breakfast had ended they did their very best to make sure I got the meal I ordered anyway and took the time to mend the situation even in a clearly very busy time. Decided they earned this review for that haha“

“Tasty Chicken is one of my favorite hang out despite everyone there is Gualamalin. The food most of the time is very good. The some of the prices are cheaper than competitors. You can get a loaded burrito for $8.00. That burrito will fill you up because it takes two hands to eat one.“

“I wanted some real spot fried chicken, not the uptight mama kitchen 2 pieces for twenty dollars and other so called hipster spots.This joint is in a gas station, so it's scares the local cary town polos and yoga pants away. I'm a hypocrite cuz I rock Lululemon sometimes too ?.I ordered chicken, biscuits, cornbread, fries. All were awesome. Fries were soggy yet still bangin like some subs in an 87 Cutlass. Chicken is 9 out of ten. Clean, not greasy. Biscuits and corn bread 7.5/10. The manager Francis held me down and was on top of his customer service game. Def recommend as a dope spot. It's a franchise too for those scared of the gas station. Word life.“
