"Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came." Just add terrific live music, great acoustics, and the best dance floor around! Truly impressive across the board - friendly, welcoming and FUN. Pete, Kelly and their team are true professionals; they love their work and make sure everyone feels welcome. Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. Chef Pete (different one) regularly impresses with tasty appetizers, entrees, salads (Greek is a fave), desserts, and more. More than worth a visit - keep going back! I'm proud to be a regular (OK - groupie/super-fan) and my nights at Pete's are true weekend highlights. The atmosphere was so inviting, and the food was incredible. Our waiter, Hamen, was a standout; her smile and eloquent explanations of the dishes added a special touch to our meal. She served us with passion and showed no signs of tiredness despite the extremely busy situation. This is an experience you barely find in many restaurants. Birndo is a must-visit. Definitely worth checking out as $20 goes a long way at this bar.“

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “My husband and I had dinner at D’Roccos in Occoquan tonight. They are under new management and reviews were great, so we went. Our server, Yun, I believe she said she was an owner or related to the owner (🤦‍♀️).She was amazing as was all the staff. We were a bit hesitant as walked in along with a party of 14 and several smaller ones but it was all hands on deck, for wonderful food, with timely delivery! We had the calamari- cooked so perfectly you could cut it with a fork! The lasagna was very good with a tomato and bechamel sauce with veal and pork. I had the octopus with fingerling potatoes and zucchini… AMAZING! I’m an octopus junkie! Tiramisu was not a classic presentation though it was excellent! We loved it! Check it out! From the time I make reservations through walking through the front door of the restaurant, the service, the managers, the chef, the food, to serving the BEST ITALIAN CUISINE SINCE ITALY, and cleanliness in the restrooms. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. “First of all the atmosphere is so cute!! They went all out for halloween but in general you can tell a lot of thought was put into the decor to make it a fun environment. The happy hour was great, 10/10 recommend their spicy margarita. The beef empanadas were so delicious and all of their salsas and house sauce was so good. “Good place to go for KFC (Korean fried chicken) pub night. The wings were crispy and they offered a lot of flavors I haven't seen from other KFC places. We got a huge serving of edamame, and the fried dumplings were crispy and flavorful. I tried the black and white cocktail, which is whiskey and rice wine, and the combination reminded me a lot of mezcal with that tobacco-y flavor profile. I recommend the yuzu highball, which is perfect for a palate cleanser after eating sticky crispy wings. The restaurant itself is clean and modern looking, and I got a chuckle out of the restroom signs. Service was really great and made sure we had everything we needed.“

“I have been to Open Road many times and like it there. This time, we had hoped to sit on the patio as it was beautiful out. But we felt we couldn't because the live music was so loud, we would not have been able to hear each other. Inside in the end it wasn't much better. The multiple TVs had the sound up at full volume, showing a game. Because that was so loud, the din of everyone in the restaurant having to yell over the noise made it a pretty unpleasant experience. This will actually make me think twice about going back to a restaurant I've always liked.“
