“Cool spot across from campus. We needed to grab a very quick lunch before starting a history tour of UVA. Thought, bagels are fast....we made the right choice. We each made a bagel sandwich order. Ham, Turkey and a PBJ. Bagels were extremely fresh like someone's Grandma is boiling them in the back. We ate like the locals and will definitely recommend to everyone.“

“My Door Dash driver forgot the second bag of my order and failed to respond when I reached out. I called the store and spoke with Jared, who found the rest of my order and offered to deliver it himself! This kind of customer service is hard to find these days! I would give 10 stars if I could! Jared went above and beyond to help a group of hungry nurses who LOVE Chicken Salad Chick! The food here is always fresh and delicious. We will continue to order again and again!!“

“We have family in Charlottesville that we visit about twice a year, and every time we come here to get a sub and it is wonderful! I wish there was a location in Oklahoma because it has the freshest ingredients and a lovely atmosphere. It is great! ❤️“

“I had Jersey Mike’s years ago and wasn’t impressed. Today I went in to grab my wife lunch as she had a coupon and I couldn’t be more impressed!! Sub was amazing and the service was even better. I highly recommend getting it Mike’s way!“

“Unironically one of the best sandwiches in Charlottesville (which sadly doesn’t have an insanely high bar).
I got the elliewoods club which was super tasty. My only complaint was the bread is a little skinny and they just laid some fat pieces of lettuce on top so I had to fold it onto the sandwich. Other than that, no notes in particular. The house dressing was awesome as well, and they are generous by both putting a lot on the sandwich and providing a little dip cup on the side.
The chip ledge is hilarious with a wide selection to choose from. There are actually a couple tables inside of the joint; I’d estimate 10 people could comfortably eat inside.
Will 100% be returning to Take It Away in the future. It’s definitely become my biggest reason to venture to the corner (well that and moge tee).“

“I really loved the team working there! We went to the subway first time and ordered our subs very slowly despite that they were very patient and helped us with the details.
Top of that I’m a vegetarian, I’m so glad they have a veggie patty and fresh veggies!!“

“I’ve had some of the “most famous” sandwiches across most major metropolitan areas in North America, Europe, and the UAE. This is the best sandwich I’ve had. Textures and flavors on these sandwiches work together perfectly. I’m sad I don’t live here permanently.“
