“Let's talk about my recent visit to Chipotle Mexican Grill at Fairfax Corner 14! It's always a great spot to grab a bite, especially with all the shopping and entertainment right there at Fairfax Corner. There's definitely plenty to do, making it a convenient stop when you're out and about.
On my latest trip, we opted for our usual — a Barbacoa Burrito and a Barbacoa Bowl, washed down with a Diet Coke and some water. Overall, it's good food, and you can always count on those fresh ingredients.
However, I do have a little constructive feedback, particularly regarding the meat portions. It feels like the meat portions could really benefit from being standardized, perhaps by using measuring spoons for all the meats. I noticed with the Barbacoa, specifically, that using tongs can be a bit tricky when it's not completely shredded, leading to some inconsistency. In fact, on my burrito, I ended up paying for double meat, but I actually expressed my disappointment about the portion size on the bowl and didn't end up paying extra for it there. Standardizing this could really enhance the customer experience and ensure everyone gets a fair and consistent serving.
And just a general note for Chipotle as a whole, across all locations: it would be great if there was an effort to go a little easier on the salt. It seems like everything tends to have a lot of sodium, which can sometimes overpower the fresh flavors.
Despite these minor points, Chipotle at Fairfax Corner 14 remains a reliable spot for a quick and satisfying meal. The convenience of the location and the fresh ingredients keep me coming back, and with a few tweaks, it could be even better!“
“I used to come here once a week before I graduated from GMU, so the service is hit or miss for me. If you come here around 1-2pm, definitely be prepared to deal with a big crowd, as if you will be waiting outside of the door. Service is ok. I've had some nice servers, and others who were not so great, but something I've noticed about this Chipotle is that they give you the tiniest portions of protein and bean. I once got three literal black beans on my bowl, and two steak meats, which isn't worth the price that you pay, but sometimes I've had servers give a generous amount of meat. Rice can be a bit mushy and salty at times too, but mostly I've had good experiences.I would come back here, but I am always thinking whether the next experience will be good or bad. The GMU Chipotle definitely needs some consistency with their service and food quality.“
“Normally go here to pick up so lunch, normally the workers are nice on the line. The one spanish lady seemed to have an attidude because I wanted a item fresh; excuse me I dont want anythin your scraping at the bottom, she told her co worker they did Bring more of the item. I feel like it is peak hours meaning lunch you should know people want fresh food! When her co worker came over she started speakin spanish and keep looking at me: which is extremly rude.
This experience didnt sit well with me causing me to leave a review, i have a chiptole literally 5mins from my job and i drive 20mins to this particular one because the food is normally fresh and the normally the workers are friendly, disappointing.“
“I usually go to this chipotle after the gym and work around 8-10 at night, and it’s usually an experience… staff is outright rude and look at you like they want you dead when you ask for double meat. Today, I went at 2:00 and saw their Saturday afternoon team, and they’re so much better! Lupita(I’m sorry if I’m misspelling your name) was amazing! She was kind, and gave me good portions that were extremely fresh! The building was 100x cleaner and had a way better atmosphere than what I usually see. If I had to rate late nights it would be a 3/5, but I’m bumping them up for the great work of their Saturday morning team!“
“I had such a positive experience at Chipotle Mexican Grill thanks to Mark, who was truly amazing. He prepared the food with so much care and mindfulness, and you could tell he genuinely took pride in his work. It was refreshing to see that level of intention and kindness these days. He was warm, patient, and respectful, and it honestly made the whole visit feel better. Simple moments like that really stand out and make a difference.“
