I had an incredible time at 54 Restaurant and Lounge! The atmosphere is perfect for a night out, but what really made the experience stand out was the service.

A huge shoutout and kudos to Cindy, our bartender. She has such an incredibly uplifting personality and brings the best energy to the room. Her vibes are infectious, and she makes sure everyone feels welcome and taken care of while crafting amazing drinks.

If you're looking for a spot with great food, drinks, and a high-energy, positive atmosphere, this is it. Make sure to stop by the bar and see Cindy!“

“One of the best lounges you can enter with Priority Pass. Etihad is still Etihad, even when it comes to its lounges. It is not the biggest lounge, but definitely a decent size with all the necessary amenities. We even had the chance to enjoy a proper dinner before our flight. The only downside is that Priority Pass access is limited to once per year.“

He anticipated our needs long before we realized them, and he was a great help with our 3 children. The food and drinks were to die for, the ambiance and music was amazing, a truly fantastic night. His thoughtful recommendations, warm demeanor, and perfectly timed attentiveness made for an unforgettable evening. As fans of Persian cuisine and frequent shoppers at Yekta Market in Rockville— having recently tried our hand at making Persian dishes like Fesenjan at home— coupled with all of the culinary accolades— we had high expectations for JOON. It not only met but exceeded them. Mast-o Musir, yogurt dish with Persian dried shallot and rose petal, was exceptional— more elevated and nuanced than any we’ve had. The mushroom Khoresht stew with white truffle was another highlight, offering perfectly balanced flavors something hard to do with white truffles and a satisfying richness, complemented by the perfectly crunchy Tahdig, iconic golden rice crust. The braised lamb shoulder which Yacine suggested was the undeniable highlight of the meal I which each dish was excellent. Tender and flavorful, it was paired beautifully with texture. It’s a signature dish that rivals the best we’ve ever had, bringing to mind the legendary Bo Ssam pork shoulder from David Chang’s Momofuku— bold, unforgettable, and expertly prepared. The Gormeh Sabzi, short rib stew with its delicious sour depth, was excellent but couldn’t quite match the lamb’s showstopping brilliance. Two very minor points. While the food and service are exceptional, the main dining room lighting would benefit from dimming. A water filtration water system could make a big difference as well. JOON has firmly secured its place as a must-visit dining destination for us. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.“

“The karaoke is awesome Fridays and Saturday!! Went for three weeks straight while at a conference! The bar food is actually really good. The pizza was pretty good and the wings are extremely good!! The drinks are fair priced for pitchers as well.“

“After a long, lackluster day of a birthday—I went to Lulu cafe. And it was the best way possible to conclude my birthday last night. The vibe was really chill and energetic at the same time. The staff as well as the customers just made it a wonderful place to celebrate with my friends. The karaoke rooms had great sound quality and everything about it was designed for a good time. I will definitely be back. Everyone was dancing and getting hyped, even if they were just sitting down and drinking. It was like being on an episode of Adventure Time. High energy, humorous and just solid times.“

“Had an amazing dinner at The Simon. The restaurant looks beautiful with a great bar and interior. The drinks were excellent—we tried the Veranda and Lake Anne Smoke cocktails. The Carolina Gold Rice Risotto was my favorite. Great service and a wonderful experience overall.“
