“I have always loved Agora, and for years it was one of my favorite coffee shops. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the feeling that it was truly a passion project made it stand out from every other coffee shop around.

Unfortunately, it feels like it has been losing some of that charm over the last few years. One thing I always appreciated was being served coffee in a real coffee mug. It may seem like a small thing, but it added to the experience. Now it's paper cups, just like everywhere else.

Many people use coffee shops as a place to work, study, or spend a few hours relaxing. The two fabric chairs in the back are completely worn out and have been that way for quite some time. They really need some attention.

I still enjoy coming here and don't plan to stop, but I miss the Agora that felt unique and special. I hope it gets some of the attention and care that made so many of us fall in love with it in the first place.“

“We stopped in randomly just to check it out and its now our new coffee spot. The late we had was so good. We also got our five year old one of their vegan chocolate chip cookies which was also amazing. The space is well designed with tons of great local artists work and there also seems to be an open mic area in the back. Will definitely be coming back.“

“My husband and I have been coming to Eileen’s since we moved to Fredericksburg. We visit most weekends, and any time we have friends or family in town. They always ask to go back when they visit!

Today we brought some friends who were in town for a visit and everything was amazing as usual! I had the turkey pesto croissant, my husband had the croque monsieur, and my friend got the pistachio roll. We ended up going back up for another pistachio roll. It was incredible.

Hours after we left my friend realized she had left her purse behind. Unfortunately her keys were in her bag, and the bakery was closed, so we had no way of retrieving the bag. She was supposed to drive back to Pennsylvania, so we reached out to the owner, fully expecting her to say they would be happy to give us the purse when they opened the next day.

Much to our surprise, the owner (Trista) drove back to the bakery to meet us and give my friend her purse. She was SO kind and lovely. Went way above and beyond.

Eileen’s is already a beloved spot for us, but now they have customers for life. Thanks again, Trista!!!“

“Coffee was delicious but quite a wait. Not noticably busy, but just one person handling the coffee and the register (she hustled as fast as she was able solo, and that was appreciated) Reccomend ordering your coffee immediately and then spending some time looking around or shopping. It was tasty tho! Next time I'll plan accordingly and maybe grab some food too!“

“Freddy Donuts is definitely worth the stop! The donuts were fresh, soft, and full of flavor. There was a great variety to choose from, and everything tasted like it was made fresh that day.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided quick service, even though they were busy. The shop was clean, and the atmosphere was inviting.

If you're looking for delicious, fresh donuts and great customer service, I highly recommend Freddy Donuts. I'll definitely be back to try even more flavors! 🍩“

“Yesterday I was in Fredericksburg and I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with some issues involving my Amtrak trip home. I walked over to 25 30 Espresso from the train station to sit, try to relax, and have a drink/some food. I got to talking to the baristas, Chris & Alyssa, about my trip and the hiccups I was dealing with trying to make it home. They were both so sweet & caring, going above & beyond to do what they could to make my day better. It was so thoughtful and meant the world to me that they were such genuine, kind hearted human beings and I am so thankful that our paths crossed ❤️“

The lady on headset told us to let her know if we needed any help, so we asked her for a recommendation. She was so sweet, asked us a few questions, and gave us a recommendation that we ordered. It's not that I prefer Starbucks drinks over other coffee shops in the area, but the atmosphere here is why it’s my go to remote work stop. The baristas here are so personal and generous (shout out to Alexis!). The drinks are always well done and the wait times are reasonable and quick!
