“Gyuzo offers an exceptional Japanese dining experience, made perfect by Amanda's impeccable service. From her warm welcome to expert menu guidance, Amanda ensured a memorable evening. The dishes, including delectable sashimi, ramen, and Wagyu beef, showcased Gyuzo's culinary excellence. Amanda's attention to detail and seamless service left us eager to return.“
“I'm a frequent customer, I went after 2 years and that place change in a good way, a new menu with really good venezuelan food, the steak on sticks is really fantastic and the venezuelan experience at the service of Mr Carlos who is and really friendly and charismatic person like most of the venezuelan people!“
“The atmosphere here is amazing, you immediately relax. The drinks were incredible and the food was out of this world! The best dining experience I’ve had in years, I left with a giant smile on my face. Wish Anthony Bourdain was alive to taste this place.“
“Firepan Korean BBQ in Falls Church offers a delightful all-you-can-eat BBQ experience. The variety of meats and sides provide a true taste of Korean cuisine. The staff is attentive and the ambiance is inviting, making it a great dining choice for BBQ enthusiasts.“
“The service was excellent and the food was great. I had a brisket sandwich for the first Time, and Mr Ed was awesome and so hopeful and professional. Believe me I will be coming back with the whole family, Ed if you see this thanks, I do appreciate you man.“
“Everything was amazing and our server Sam was very attentive. We can't wait to come back with friends. We had the ceviche, seared scallop roll, filet, brisket, Nanban, flaming tuna roll, garlic butter scallops, passionfruit, and matcha crepe cake. The ceviche was a very good portion plus fun to watch when it was delivered.“
“Dear Diary - how can you not like kbbq? Is this a place to try? Definitely. They have all you can eat and/or A la carte. If you don't think you can easily go through 'all you can eat', it's ok to A le carte yourself instead; no shame in that. Their brisket and short ribs (bone or boneless) are amazing. I would say this place is a bit more premium, and you definitely pay for it.“
“This place is definitely not what it looks like from the outside. You should try it, they have amazing, authentic ramen. And guess what? They don't even give you forks! ? I had the veggie ramen and my partner had the spicy veggie ramen. Both were super flavorful but not too much.“
“I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ in my lifetime, and let me tell you… this was the all-around best BBQ restaurant I’ve ever been to. Hands down. The Food: We got the combo, with the ribs and smoked chicken. We arrived after the lunch rush, so the brisket was sold out. Rightfully so- because I heard it was delicious. We also got a chicken wing in the combo. The ribs were so juicy and just fell off the bone. The seasonings were mind-blowing. The chicken was cooked to perfection. *chef’s kiss* You don't need BBQ sauce, but they had a variety- I chose the spicy one, which was delicious.Let me tell you about the sides. THE SIDES! The sides are to die for. The old-fashioned kale is A MUST. The coleslaw has the perfect balance of flavors- the best I’ve had. The cornbread- out of this world. It seems like I’m saying everything is over-the-top delicious, but it is. As I mentioned to the owners, I will dream about this meal tonight! The Atmosphere: This cute spot looks like an old Jiffy Lube turned into an aesthetic BBQ establishment. As we sat down, we noticed that the front of the building had two all-glass garage doors. Genius! They also had outdoor seating, and we were so tempted to sit next to the cherry blossoms, but there was a chance of showers, so we opted to dine in. Their menu board is always up-to-date. When we walked in, we knew they would be out of their brisket because the menu board said, “Brisket available after 4 pm.” They also explained that there was a lunch rush and the brisket sold out.The Service: Nicest human beings ever. I felt like I was talking to my next-door neighbors. Not only were they helpful when we were trying to figure out what to order, but they made everyone feel like family… like you just stepped into your auntie and uncle’s restaurant.Parking: Plenty of parking!I promise you that you won't regret eating here, so go try them out!“
“We visited this restaurant some time ago and really enjoyed it, particularly the high-quality pork meat. We are fans of Korean BBQ and have tried out many restaurants in Northern Virginia, particularly those that offer all-you-can-eat BBQ. This one stands out as one of the best; their meat is of good quality and delicious.“
“Out freaking standing!!!!!I was in town for business, decided to grab some barbecue, and I was blown away by how awesome this place is. From the moment I walked in the restaurant the staff greeted me with a smile and explained the restaurant, their food, fresh cut fries and everything as I was a first time visitor. I got my food and it was delicious barbecue. Being from Kansas City I have to admit this is really good barbecue. Even the general manager heard I was a first time customer and walked over and thanked me for coming in. This visit couldn’t have gone any better. You must go if you haven’t been . HUGE 5 STARS!!!“
“Food is great as all mission BBQ.Service and welcome from the team is awesome. We were welcomed the moment we stepped in from the staff, who were about 25 feet away. It made my wife smile ear to ear ear when they said loudly “welcome folks!”In the way our same thing, “have a great night folks”Super friendly made you feel like the only customer.Had the burger to change things up from the typical BBQ I get and it was awesome!“
“We found a Korean restaurant in an unusual location - inside an office building. At first glance, it looked more like a cafe in a hotel rather than a Korean restaurant. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the great taste of the food and the generous portions. The service was also good, and the place was clean and well-maintained.“
“I will say this is biased bc the one in Orlando is amazing! But I didn't fully enjoy my hotpot base and the appetizer bar was limited but still tasty. You truly can't go wrong with kpot though and we still enjoyed our food. I got a taro boba to go and was hoping for regular boba but instead received lychee jelly at the bottom. Not a big deal but would have loved to have the choice.“
“This is a popular Korean BBQ restaurant located in Fairfax, and unlike the typical all-you-can-eat restaurants, they serve combo menus. The meats are delicious, and their seafood pancake is also great. The ambiance is lively and youthful, giving the feel of being at a night market in Korea. However, the wait time can be quite long, although the service is decent.Parking: The parking lot is free, but it tends to fill up quickly.“
“This is a fun place for a celebration! We rented a private karaoke dining room on a weekday evening. The music was fun with a good selection of popular tunes, and the room was the perfect size for a small group - well equipped for both dining and partying. The food was both unique and delicious - we particularly recommend the Qiqihar beef. There was also an excellent selection of cocktails and flavored iced teas. Shout out to our server, Patrick, who took good care of us and had a great singing voice to boot!Kid-friendliness: Not recommended for small children, as the karaoke screens would often auto-play songs with less-than-optimal lyrics.“
“I am so happy I found Mo's pit bbq. The brisket and bbq sauce so yummy! The baked beans and potato salad went hand in hand. The bread was soft made some sandwiches best ever! Don't pass this place by stop and try it you will be so happy you did.“
“If you are in the Fairfax area, Bebop is a must-try. I really like their selections of bulgogi burgers, the bulgogi rice bowl with purple rice, and the ambience of the restaurant, which is decorated with old music albums. Friendly service. I would also recommend trying out their turkey bacon topping on their burger.Overall, this is a great place if you are looking to try an unique type of burger, and if you are a fan of bulgogi like I am.Dietary restrictions: Turkey bacon instead of pork bacon. Can accommodate with some of the toppings, but definitely ask the server.Parking: It is in a shopping center right by Party City.“
“Mackie's Catering Company truly delivered excellence at our congressional campaign event in Germantown with their delectable offering of 100 barbecue sliders. Not only did their generous contribution feed the community, but it also elevated the overall experience of our event. Cam Makki's commitment to quality and generosity is commendable, and I wholeheartedly encourage other local businesses to collaborate with this outstanding company. The food was simply delicious, leaving everyone satisfied and eager for more.Kid-friendliness: This company is all about the community and feeding children.“
“Awesome. The guy Bob there is incredible. His passion for food, service and the restaurant industry really makes a big difference and is contagious to say the least. He is about that action and the quality reflects the level of love and care put in. Contagious is a tough word to use in a food review but never had any reason to question cleanliness, was always beyond expectations in every way.(Famous Bobs!)“
“My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our whole experience with Helga's from the start of the planning process to the wedding weekend. The owner, Michael, and his entire staff are incredibly professional & provide wonderful services. Everyone at our wedding commented on how amazing our cocktail hour & reception food was! Not a single item on the menu was anything less than delicious. Michael welcomed my husband & I in for a tasting early in the process which was equally delightful -- himself & his staff were again so kind & professional. Every little change that came up during the planning process leading up to wedding day was quickly included & noted by Michael & team. We appreciate how accommodating & flexible this team was on a day where there are so many little details. We cannot stress how highly we recommend Helga's for your wedding. You will not be disappointed! Oh, and the bartenders were awesome!!!“
“I love coming here because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable. There is a great variety of meats that are well seasoned and specific to this place, not all Korean bbqs like the orange bulgogi. The tables are spread fat enough that you're comfortable and relaxed. It's not loud k pop music like other restaurants. I like to take my family and my staff here. Julia in particular is our favorite server. She's friendly, attentive, gives great recommendations, and can make great cocktails. I highly recommend this place and be sure to ask for Julia.“
“Great people. Happened upon a man and his family selling barbecue and sides on a beautiful summer day. I really like the flavor of the smoked meat and the flavor of the barbecue sauce. I didn't like the pulled pork as much as I liked the ribs. Both were better with the barbecue sauce. Mac and cheese was both delicious and cheesy. The collards were flavorful but my serving was not tender. I would definitely visit again.“
“We got the Bulgogi Jabchae sometime in February 2024 and it was mindblowingly good for a food court dish. We came back in late March, only to be told that it was taken off the menu ?? We tried the hot stone beef bulgogi, and that was amazing as well!! Definitely recommend trying their dishes, very reasonably priced, yummy and soul filling food.“
“Wow. You think that in a food court in a supermarket it would be just be OK. But better than most full sit down Korean restaurant anywhere. Like Michelin star good. Blows me away how good it was. Bibimbap is my go to. And this was probably the best dolsot/dolpan Bibimbop I’ve ever had. That’s probably out of hundreds I’ve “
“The trout and the brisket were delicious, one side, the beets were very nice, broccoli that came with the trout was rather limp and grey, but flavorful, maybe just needed to be blanched prior to grilling. The bread basket had freshly baked, warm, 3 selections, 2 very good, one a bit underdone, a spoon biscuit. Nelson was a knowledgeable server of food and drink. One person had white wine, another a beer on tap, and it was a welcome suprrise that The Falls had two of the premium non-alcohol beers, both Athletic brand, one an IPA. The noise level was just moderate on this weeknight dinner. We will return to this pretty and delicious addition to Falls Church dining.“
“Highly recommend getting the Trio Platter (got the ribs, burnt ends and moist brisket with coleslaw and potato salad). The price is a steal and the servings are enough for 2 people per Platter. The interior has a cool vibe to it but I highly recommend getting bbq from here if you want good meats.“
“I've been here 3 times now and I've NEVER been anywhere 3 times and it been excellent all 3 times. Tonight was Valentine's Day so there were specials. I had the 12 Oz. prime rib, a side salad and of course the best onion rings you'll ever eat. It was delicious as always. If you like BBQ, I can't say enough about this place. The people, the food, the atmosphere, you can't go wrong with Mookies.“
