“We were completely and pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. They were a bit understaffed but that seems to be a challenge many restaurants are experiencing. Our server was attentive and friendly. The salmon was delicious, the Wagyu burger as well. The wings were flavorful but not overwhelmingly hot. But the highlight were the French fries. We were there for a birthday and my son's favorite is the marinated Kalbi and it typically always gets cooked last. Seeing that as my son was waiting the server said he would add a note to my reservation for the future so it gets cooked first so my son doesn't have to wait. :) The meat quality was excellent! “We had to pick someone up from Dulles Airport in virginia and had about an hour to spare. We Googled nearby options and found this place just five minutes away from the airport. We ordered mutton masala with rice, plain naan, and a chikoo shake. We also packed a butter paneer masala, which was great. The food was excellent overall. The chikoo shake could have been a little less sweet, but otherwise it’s a great spot for Indian food. Those who need to know, this place is big, clean and has a good bar too.“

Wish he were on my team. Luis was our server and was great! He was on top of our every need, was attentive, and easily on of the best servers I've ever had. To round out the team, Juan was behind Luis with any additional support that we needed. Quiet professional with great service; Quick, fast, and in a hurry. The ambiance of the restaurant is hard to find in DC. It was quiet enough for a one on one conversation, but energetic enough to make sure that we were not bored. The food was top notch! My stomach hurts because I should have tapped out 15 minutes ago but the food was too good to stop. I'd recommend the Leviathan wine and tomahawk steak. We are big eaters and could not finish our salads and soup, steak, or desserts! My husband highly recommends the French onion soup, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. “Our experience at the Cardinal restaurant was overall good. It's a restaurant inside the Hilton hotel. There is a bar with seating, lounge and restaurant seating. Gladys was our server and she took great care of us, very friendly and fast service. She checked on us several times and gave good recommendations for food. We both had the Santa Fe Chicken salad. It was very tasty and fresh, including tomatoes and avocado. The vodka martinis were good sized and delicious. Prices for food were reasonable. Drinks were more expensive than usual.
