The place was empty so the food came quickly. The food was hot and delicious. The problem was at checkout. 2 cheeseburgers are $8.99 on the menu but they charged $11.99 and they don't give you the ticket until after you pay. The woman behind the counter was very slow and had to keep asking a man behind her. He said that the $11.99 was after taxes, but no. I finally received my $6 back but I did not get refunded for the tax.“

“Food was tasty. Was a bit overpriced for the serving size. I expected gnudi when I ordered gnudi but instead I received regular pasta with a lot of pesto. That was disappointing. Maybe trying a bit too hard. The rabbit was good. It was prepared like an Asian dumpling soup, not spectacular. A bit unexpected but an enjoyable meal. Probably not returning as I did not get what was ordered and it was expensive for what was served.“

“I ordered the Sicilian pizza for take-out, so service and atmosphere are really not important. However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!“

There was a couple walking up the stairs in front of us as we went in, and when we got to the door, a waitress said “I need that cup” and yanked it out of the woman’s hand as she walked off. She was the same waitress that sat us, but not who took our order. The waitress who took our order was extremely rude almost the entire time. A couple of times she brought food out and put it on our table AS she’s walking by. I stopped her once, to ask if we could have our bread warmed as it was cold. She barely stopped as she said “no.” And continued walking. The waitresses were rude and made me feel so uncomfortable with their terrible attitudes. Atmosphere is a little cramped but it was fine. The food was AMAZING though. It was really hot, and the pasta portions were GENEROUS.“

“I have been a patron of this establishment for over 30 years and in all that time I have never been asked to pay a gratuity fee. I have had birthday parties , baby showers and rehearsal dinner. I realize there was six in my party. Paying by two different checks. The owner whom my kids played with growing up tells me its on the menu that the its up to the server degression to use it or not. “Found Dinamo quite by accident. A Richmond-centric publication mentioned Dinamo as an aside in relation to another restaurant that had since closed. When we discovered Dinamo was still open (later evening) we decided to give it a whirl. The whirling airplane prop in the front window indicated that, at the very least, things would be not boring. We were coming in towards the end of service and were nonetheless greeted with warmth. Firstly, the bread got me baking again. No small feat. “mi pueblito pizzeria and restaurant??? more like TORTA DE CARNE ASADA RESTAURANT!! this place should be known for their torta’s, not pizza. look. my dad is from the caribbean. i’ve never heard of a torta in my life until i came to this place.

my girlfriend’s family have been coming here for years (she’s salvadoran) and she said the sopa de pollo tastes like home. everytime she eats here food she makes a “mmm” sound so it means she happy.

as you can see below we had a feast (wasn’t the first time) we got empanadas, queso de pupusas (wasn’t as good as her moms), horchata, torte de carne asada, and even sopa de pollo

the food was so good, the atmosphere is cool, the workers speak espanol, and the prices are reasonable. come here if you want a full belly

“Mimmo’s has become a weekly staple for a large group of us, and we can’t say enough good things about the place. What started as a small group lunch just before 2020 has grown significantly (especially over the last year) and it’s now common for 20+ of us to show up at once every Wednesday. Despite the size of our group, the service has never missed a beat.

The staff is always incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They happily let us move tables together so everyone can sit in one long row, and they never have any issues with separate checks for a large group. Over time they’ve even started remembering many of our regular drink orders and favorite menu items, which really shows how much they care about their customers.

The food is consistently excellent. The pizza and sandwiches are always a hit, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Portions are fantastic and prices are very reasonable.

One story that really says a lot about this place: during the COVID restrictions when the group couldn’t dine inside, everyone still ordered food and gathered outside in the parking lot. The owner, Daniel, brought tables and chairs outside for everyone could still sit together and enjoy lunch. That’s the kind of hospitality you don’t see everywhere.

It’s a relaxed, family-owned restaurant with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. Our group even brings radio gadgets and tech to show each other sometimes (we’re a ham radio group), and the staff has always been completely cool with it.

If you’re looking for a great local spot with good food and genuinely kind people running it, Mimmo’s is hard to beat.“

“We were traveling through the area and got hungry after a round of golf. Finding good is a crapshoot but Maria’s is a definite winner. We originally stopped in for pizza, how bad could someone screw up pizza.
