“My family and I were here on Sunday March 31 . We ate at the restaurant and were treated like royalty! The plates, silverware and other items we used were all very clean and neatly presented to us. “Fantastic locally owned restaurant! We were in Roanoke to see our son perform at the Mill Mountain Theatre just down the street, and the hotel recommended this lovely establishment. Lots of fresh fish, terrific steaks, and the best shrimp & grits we have ever tasted! (And we're from the FL gulf!) Service is prompt, efficient, and appropriately friendly without being cloying. Ambience and tasteful decor are upscale but relaxed. We are coming back tomorrow night!“

“Have passed by this place a few times while downtown, but never gone in and was not disappointed! It's larger inside than expected with three floors of seating and has a few larger tables for bigger parties. All the food we got was good and came out fast. It was around 2 pm on a Saturday when we went and wasn't overly busy. We particularly liked the seating at the top because we had a good view of the City Market Plaza. They had a few TVs playing bearing sporting events if that's your thing, and had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. We ordered the Craft Ginger Beer and lemonade and the Ginger Beer was good without being too spicy while on the other hand the lemonade was very tart. A little added sugar balanced it out, but the note is for those who like it that way. Prices were fair. Spent about $27 with Appetizer (Price split between two), Drink, and Food. Will eat here again! Without the tip is was $17 and change. That is very expensive. The smoothie was pretty basic, it didn’t have that veggie taste I’m used too. And maybe it’s the smoothie I got but it was really sweet and it was hard to know if it was a healthy smoothie vs. sugar loaded because there are no calories listed.They appear to be a ‘health food place’. They sell salads, soups, wraps, and smoothie bowls. But there are zero calories for any item. That’s a no no for me as I am currently tracking my calories. I feel like they should take the time to figure out the calorie counts for what they make. That can be done for free on myfitnesspal by creating your own recipe.My wrap was actually good and very fresh. I wouldn’t mind trying other wraps here but again, because I am on a strict diet, I need to know the calories. Maybe it’s 400 calories and maybe it’s 800? There is no telling so I wouldn’t recommend it as a regular spot for people on specialized diets.Lastly, the cashier was nice but she wasn’t really helpful or engaging and it was my first time there. Friendlier cashiers and listing calories at a minimum would result in a higher rating from me.“

From this point on the green way you can walk to black dog salvage and look around or head the other way and end up at the hospital. My favorite place to walk on the greenway.“
