“Ok first of all, great pizza! Four stars because of the chaos of the ordering process. It was pretty busy on a Thursday evening and I know the workers were doing the best they could. But it’s hard to see the overhead menu until you get to the point where they start taking orders and making the pizza. At that point the workers are yelling at you asking you what you want(not rudely necessarily, they were trying to shout over the noise in the restaurant). For a first time customer it was quite confusing. I felt like we didn’t have time to order exactly what we wanted. The pizza was very good though. I definitely will come back but maybe at a less busy time.“

“This place is amazing! We were visiting from Kansas for the weekend and ended up eating at La Villa both days. The owner, Mike, is great, and the staff was so sweet. The food was so good, we had to go back for more!“

“Whoever is leading and running this Wendy's location deserves a raise, likewise the other employees as well! I usually don't review chain fast food restaurants very often but at this location the food quality is better, the atmosphere is kept up well and the employees are respectful, kind and diligently listen to and take your order. Am I saying thay this Wendy's tastes like and is equivalent to a fancy dining establishment? Not at all but what I am saying is that I am from Appomattox County and I will use my gas and time to eat at this Wendy's any day over the one in Appomattox. It all starts with leadership and the leadership at this location is doing a stellar job.“

“Do not do drive through at this Zaxby's. The food is good for fast food, but the service is miserable. On average, I have to wait an extra ten to fifteen minutes every other time I do takeout there. I have never seen a drive thru as poorly run as this restaurant. Tonight, it was 29 minutes from the time I pulled into the drive-thru lane until I received my food. We will look for takeout elsewhere from now on.“

“The pizza tastes very good and has the perfect ratio of cheese to bread although the sauce is a little bit saucy for me it is still very top notch very good. The pizza is a little too greasy for me but I can be very picky. The bread sticks are very good and top quality. And I just love being able to order pizza for my family and being able to enjoy that cheesy goodness. Plus I like to spend some quality time with my loved ones in the car picking up the pizza. So overall this is a very good pizza place.“

“10/10 experience. As someone who has been in the restaurant/ hospitality industry for almost 10 years, this team, their problem solving, and customer relations skills are absolutely amazing. The service was impeccable, I came through the drive through and ordered a Crunchwrap combo, there were a few mistakes, I brought my order back inside and informed the team and they fixed all of my issues with zero backlash and were extremely apologetic. They went above and beyond, had my remake out in no time, and the team apologized for the situation. All of the team members on duty were BEYOND kind, accommodating and apologetic. We all know things happen, mistakes happen, but it’s not about that, it’s about how you handle the situation. The only downside was on my end, I forgot to ask their names so I could mention them in my review. Once again, 10/10, no notes. If upper management see this, I visited on 6/4/26 around 10pm, and all of the team members on this shift deserves recognition and in my opinion, they ALL deserve a raise.“

“3/30/22 Ordered our subs through the app for the first time because we figured the store would be busy. Tonight is their fund raiser for the Special Olympics. As expected, the store was very busy. Picked up our order and headed home. Everything we ordered was exceptional! Hot subs were hot, each requested change had been made correctly and it was ready when promised! Kudos to the Old Forest Rd location on a superb meal! 👏🏼“

“I stopped by the Wendy’s on Memorial Avenue around 11:30 today and went through the drive-through. I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience it was. The young man and young lady working the window were some of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered at a fast-food restaurant. They were smiling, joyful, and even softly singing worship music while they worked.

You could tell they truly enjoyed what they were doing and enjoyed working together. That kind of positive spirit is rare and it genuinely brightened my day. Whoever they are, Wendy’s is lucky to have them. Their kindness made a bigger impact than they probably realize.“

“My burger always taste fresh and it’s always hot. I have never gotten cold fries either. I wish drive-through wasn’t on a timer because if I don’t order way ahead of time, I always have to move up. It just gets annoying. They need to do away with the timer.“

“One of my favorite things to get at McDonald’s is always the fries but unfortunately, this location is very inconsistent in this area. Often the fries are under or over done and don’t have that nice crisp you desire. Otherwise it is your standard McDonald’s fare and service. One pro is that this location still has a PlayPlace which I have had my kids enjoy.“

“Amazing experience at this McDonalds! The manager here, Clayton, gave us 25 free breakfast sandwiches for us to serve to a local police department to show them appreciation, and then he threw in a bunch of free apple pies on top of the sandwiches we asked for! He made the process of coordinating the order seamless. He was very generous and they had the food ready at 6:30 AM right on time for us. Thank you to the manager Clayton! I highly recommend giving your business to this McDonalds!“

“I went in around 3:50 pm, I don't know her name but a lady that was African America with glasses took my order, I ordered a tuna sandwich, and she was great! She had great customer service, was relating to a good tuna sandwich lol, was sweet and upbeat.
