“A lovely welcoming spot, easy to feel right at home as soon as I went in. Friendly and attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. TVs with sportsball games on to watch if you like, and great Autumn style decor when we were here. Heard about the V&T Ruben and was not disappointed, it was delicious. I would have loved dill pickle spears instead of burger-style pickles but they were still tasty and rounded out the ruben experience with the ridged chips. Delicious cakes in the case, tried the lemon bundt cake and loved it. Wish I were local as this would be a regular go-to.“

“Barb is the dream and the family atmosphere of her hut makes it worth a stop! The pricing is reasonable (although a little different than posted on the order window when we visited) and the food was tasty. Not the place to go when you are looking for healthy choices, but definitely the place to be when you want the comfort of the South!“

“I want to say, there was a small mix up with our reservation and the manager quickly assisted us without argument. (Ms. Linsey) She was extremely professional and we were able to be seated almost immediately. Service was great, the food came in a timely manner, and my mother really enjoyed her Mother's Day meal. “Shockingly great for an Applebee's. The best one i have ever gone too. Clean atomosphere. The food came out well. Great for an Applebee's. I'm not a big fan of the chain but it was the best one yet. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and on top of things. We had somw steaks and they were all cooked exactly as they should be which I've never had happen at an Applebee's.“

“We highly recommend . This place is worth every penny, let me tell you. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. Our server was Whitney and she was excellent. I was excited to try my filet when I saw it was wrapped in bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection. The salad bar has all my favorite ingredients. Ronnie and I both ordered filets, Kenny had prime rib, and mom chose lobster tails. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be going back.“

“My experience at Shoemakers was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I knew that I was in for a treat. From the charming ambiance to the attentive service to the most amazing culinary experience. The duck confit was delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It was the best that I've ever had, And the Belgium chocolate mousse was incredible, rich and creamy, yet light and delicious. Shoemakers exceeded all my expectations, it's not often that you find a place where every element comes together so perfectly. I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family.“

“I stop by just about every day. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful, the food is very good and the wait is usually minimal. If the lines are long it’s just because the food is so good! If you’re in that big of a hurry call your order in and it’ll be ready when you get there.“

“As usual, this Red Lobster at Lynchburg is one of the best run and efficient of any we frequent. Service and quality of food is superb. The restaurant is clean and well kept.
Our attendant, Starla was great. Friendly and took good care of us.“
