“Overall Experience, 4/5: First off, we were a bit thrown when we got there. The restaurant is hidden and we were the only ones in there. But after, it was a great experience!
Food/Drink, 3.5/5: Pupusa was pretty good, you will need the sauce. Their steak tacos were really good, I appreciate they put the toppings on the side, so you can put as little or as much as you want. Their wings were pretty good, but the sauce is also needed one them.
Pricing, 4/5: Not badly priced for a Mexican place. With food and drinks we spent around $40
Service, 4/5: Our waitress was nice and it was interesting because since we were the only people in there, she gave us the option to change the music if we wanted to.
Aesthetic/Atmosphere, 3.5/5: It's the typical bar vibes. Nothing too special about it.“

“Great spot for the Buffalo Bills games. Terrible service! Every time I looked over to order food or drinks, our server was sitting down on her phone. Super frustrating, took us almost 30 minutes to place a food order from the time we sat down.“

“Stopped by on a whim. Wanted to watch the football games. The food was amazing, a hybrid of korean/American bar food. The service was on point, Brandon and Samy took care of of me like I was one of the family. Everyone playing pool was soo friendly and there was so many tvs playing the games. Ill definitely be back just for the hospitality and food.“

“Food is really good. Good German style plates. Service was impeccable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is extremely loud. It was, however, a Friday night and was a bar scene. If you like a good bar, that's a little loud, this is the place for you. If you want a bar/restaurant that you can talk at, don't go here on Friday.“

“Went to Mixxed DC for Saturday brunch with a party of six, and overall it was a great experience. First off, love that it's Black-owned and has a dope graffiti-style vibe inside. I was originally supposed to go in August, and they were super accommodating with rescheduling.
We were seated right away and opted for the unlimited mimosa special ($50), which includes one entrée. Just a heads up: everyone at your table has to participate in the special to get it, which was a little frustrating since one of us doesn't drink. Thankfully, they made an exception and let him do unlimited mocktails so we could all still enjoy the deal.
Since we had six people, they gave us three pitchers, and those mimosas were hittin! Highly recommend trying the peach flavor. We definitely left brunch very tipsy lol.
For food, I had the Biscoff pancakes, which were rich and tasty--7/10. Only thing I'd change is how the cookie butter was only on the top pancake; I would've loved it layered throughout. They came with fresh fruit and I added a side of scrambled eggs.
I also got to try the shrimp and grits which was definitely a standout! 9/10. So flavorful!
We added a hookah to our experience (separate from food, around $40), and it was a fun touch. The DJ came in during the middle of our brunch and turned it up with 90s/2000s rap and R&B, had the whole place vibing.

“Burger is a burger is a burger. It’s what I need it to be! Food and drink and friends. This is a great local place to bring your loved ones.
Edit - My one qualm is that one time, my partner ordered a burger and while two of our burgers came out, he had to wait nearly 45 minutes for his. I’m still going to come back, but that was a bit surprising and disappointing and I hope that doesn’t happen again! I really like the atmosphere!“

“I am here for a conference. I had just gone on a 2.5 hour walk to /exploration of memorial park & was absolutely exhausted and wanted something in the hotel that I could take up to my room. I walked in, there were no tables in sight. Super busy. I ran into one waiter, Francis/Francisco, he personally brought me to the point of sale to put in my to-go order and told me to come back and ask for him. They had it ready in 30 minutes (a quick waiting time for how busy it was), and it was amazing. Francis was so sweet. I can’t thank him enough!!“

It’s abundantly clear they take pride in making guests feel comfortable, and that attention to detail truly stood out.
Our server, Nikki, deserves special recognition. She was excellent from start to finish — attentive without hovering, quick with thoughtful recommendations, and always checking in at just the right moments. She had a friendly, upbeat energy that made the meal even more enjoyable, and she clearly knows how to read the table and make the dining experience personal. Having someone like Nikki looking after us elevated the entire visit, and it’s rare to find that level of service these days.“

“After coming back from a 10 day trip in Ireland The Blaguard is the spot to go. Not only do they pour a perfect Guinness but the vibes and ambience are unbeatable. The bartenders and staff are kind and fun to chat with. Not to mention the Buffalo Wings... OMG they were so good!
Great Happy Hour prices and weekly deals between 5-8 PM. I plan to become a regular after stumbiling in on this great pub.“

“I had an amazing stay thanks to the incredible staff! From the moment I arrived, the customer service was top-notch. Donitta greeted me with such warmth and made the bar and food experience amazing!. Josh the head chef was so kind and even came out to check on the food quality and made sure we were happy with our meal. Kayla and Rachelle went above and beyond to make sure the drinks were made to perfection and that I was taken care of.
It’s rare to find a great place to eat where every staff member is so genuinely kind and attentive. Because of Donitta, Josh, Kayla, Rachelle, my stay was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent customer service!“

“We came for the bottomless brunch on a Sunday afternoon. I don’t know what was better, the food or the service. Caitlyn, our server, was amazing. Everything from taking our orders, to checking in on us periodically, to just having conversations with us about the food. We got the seafood scramble, catfish and grits, and thick cut brioche, and wings Everything was 100/10. We also tried every cocktail on the bottomless drink menu and they were amazing! Can’t recommend this place for brunch and Caitlyn enough!!!“
