“Open late and everything tasted so fresh and authentic! We were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and a friend recommended Picamas since they lived nearby. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was so good. The tortilla was really soft and the chicken was so flavorful and went really well with the rice and veggies in the burrito. “I visited here for a lunch break and was blown away! This is an amazing little taco shop that I highly recommend visiting with your friends.

The menu is very simple and very affordable. The tacos are like 4.75 each and there’s a large variety of meat options. They also had quite an extensive drink menu.

I ordered the quesabirria tacos, and they were phenomenal. It came out piping hot, and was really tasty. The consommé was strong but didn’t completely overpower the natural flavors of the meat. The shell held together the whole time and didn’t make a mess in my hands. I was also very impressed with the two dollar salsa, it had a little bit of a kick to it which was a nice surprise.

My service was really fast and all of the servers were extremely polite. The interior of the restaurant is super cool, especially the huge hole in the wall that allows people watching. I really enjoyed the small parts of the experience two, like the tile tables and the weaved chip baskets. They also had plenty of seating options, including some seats on the outside of the bar.

This is one of my new favorite spots in D.C and I can’t recommend it enough!“

“Taco Bamba was playing some rocking music when we ordered our Tacos on a great fall day. The portions are reasonable and not huge. Flavor instead of large size, with several tasty dressings you choose yourself, after preparation. The quesadillas with carne asada were packed with flavor and quality sear.“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight.
