My father and I both got the NY strip and let me tell you it was absolute perfection. Not to mention the sides and drinks were perfect too. Shout out to Desiree who was great and we enjoyed chatting with, Daviel our waiter was top notch very attentive and great to talk to. “Excellent evening at the Woodbridge, VA NYAJs yesterday! We were greeted by the manager Usy( I’m not good at names) who was working on clearing tables. We had a couple minute wait for our outside table. There were 3 of us and we ordered drinks and appetizers to share. Desi was our server. She was attentive and cheerful (not annoyingly so). The Bang Bang Shrimp, Potstickers and my favorite Ahi Tuna Wontons were wonderful! Cocktails as well! We all had been regulars up to about 18 months ago as the service was atrocious. So glad NYAJ is back. This is my 2nd visit in a month. Will be back soon. Kudos to the new manager and staff. Keep it up!“

He was very patient with my elderly mother and took the time to answer all of her questions without ever making her feel rushed. He made sure we were taken care of the entire meal. We found out there were only two servers working and his section was packed but he still stayed friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of. The Mariner's Boil was excellent. You can even fix up the outside of this place, but the food‘s gonna taste exactly the same, and this fly hasn’t moved in at least a week because it is hanging upside down from their light fixture. If you zoom in on that poor fly, he’s been up there for so long, He’s got dust on him.

But let’s be real. I’m still coming back. I’m still gonna eat everything they got because it’s that kind of place. It’s like the waffle house of sea food and you know that means it’s good..“
