“Amazing food and unbeatable service. Susan took care of us from the start, answering questions and just overall being a pleasant server. She truly made us feel at home, and her charismatic energy did not go unnoticed. Items are clearly labeled gluten free and the staff was very knowledgeable regarding allergy questions. We went for an early lunch on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table. Service was incredibly fast and the food was fresh and hot. Their lunch menu had some great deals on it, and the overall prices were reasonable for the quality. My only complaint is that the soda is from cans, but our server checked in multiple times offering refills, so it wasn't horrible!“

“The food was good however a bit overrated. Ordered the salad which was good nothing extra special. Had the smoked chicken, was again good the gnocchi were a bit mushy could use more texture, they were more of a mashed potato. The chicken was hard to cut in the serving bowl it came in. Need to serve it in a more shallow plate. Deserts were slim pickings so didn't order any. Service was good but boy can he talk fast almost like he was on speed or cocaine. For such a specialized restaurant and considered higher end, need to have the bathrooms cleaner. So much dust and dirt on the baseboards and floors were not very clean which makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. I may consider going back but not anytime soon.“

“My husband and I went here for our anniversary and we were wowed by the food! This was one of the best meals we have had in years! The scallops were perfectly prepared and the filet mignon was very flavorful. The tres leches carrot cake was as amazing as it sounds. Our new favorite restaurant in Virginia! Highly recommended!“

“We were looking for a place that serves fish because of a Friday during Lent. And we were very happy. Portions were HUGE and the flavor matched. Fish sandwich was more like a platter size and the fish and chips was way more that could be eaten. Service was great and the atmosphere was as to be expected.......a diner during afternoon lunch. All in all a good meal and experience. Worth a visit if you're in the area.“

“We had a table of 10 with some seating issues at first but were quickly accommodated by the manager. Our server Sarah P. was AMAZING and handled our large party professionally and patiently. She has such a friendly personality. The food was very delicious. We had burgers, chuckawalla chicken, grilled chicken, steak and mahi mahi across the table. The devils pass dip, chicken wings, bruschetta and truffle fries were a great start to our dinner. The chocolate decadence is a MUST dessert. It just melts in your mouth. We will definitely be back!“

“This was my first time trying this place. It was late maybe around 11:30 pm. I was greeted with smiling faces and a warm welcome. The atmosphere was relaxing and clean. The presentation of the food was beautiful. The amount of food you received was plentiful. It's definitely worth the money. The steak rolls with this cheese dip , that massive Cobb salad was 10 out of 10. I was told that the wings were very delicious. I will try them on my next visit. I will be back !! “River City Diner is the real deal! The staff is friendly and helpful, the vibe is 100% diner, the food is great, and they have a full bar. Memorabilia is everywhere, there are TVs to provide some entertainment, and the staff is top notch. I looked at this place from the outside for years, with no desire to go in. I went for the first time last year, and now I'm mad I didn't go in sooner! Don't be like me!Kid-friendliness: Great spot to take kids! TVs, memorabilia, good kid food.“

“Why can't the French dip be added to the menu? I would love to come by after work around 6pm and order the French dip! I would eat here more often and spend more money if I could get the French dip at any time of day. It's so sad I can only get it from 11am to 3pm. “Never been before but this place blew me away. The bar choices were great. I had a Bourbon Bramble. I am not a big drinker.It was fantastic! For dinner I had the Shrimp Alfredo. Fantastic! French onion soup. My lady had the Harvey Salad. It was also perfect.This is my new favorite restaurant ! And I don’t even live or work in Richmond. I live in the DC area but I want to move here now!“

Tender, and not too much breading.My wife had Nachos, her report is, "they're not Mama Kwans or El Cerro, but the portion was large and the toppings generous and well flavored".My granddaughter had the popcorn shrimp with fries, the popcorn shrimp, she reported, were pretty good with a little too much breading. The fries......OK. She loves her some fries and can be a little picky.We all had leftovers for a fine dinner at home. That's hard to do with me. I'm a lifetime member of the clean plate club!All in all it's good American roadside fare at a reasonable price. We will be back.“

“Had the pleasure of eating here on 4/21 for brunch. Parking was good. We had a 15 minute wait. Very nice atmosphere. They also have a really nice outdoor area. Our server Sophie was very nice and attentive. We ordered the donuts which were recommended and they were hot and delicious. I had the breakfast burger and my hubby had the B.E.L.T and both were really good. Prices were good too for the portion. We paid $42 for the both of us before tip. We will definitely return.“

“I love the place but on Saturday night I ordered the rib dinner and the ribs was to salted. It was a take out order and I didn’t feel like taking them back because it was later after 10 pm and I was already feeling bad from waiting to eat for such a long time that day. I never had ribs that was salted like that before so I was very surprised. I’m sure it was an innocent mistake. I love that place but I was sad“

“Many menu options and the prices are reasonable. he sauces for their wings are delicious and put Buffalo Wild Wings to shame. I will say the only down side recently is that if you go during the weekend around lunch time it is pretty difficult to find parking due to a First Watch opening up in the same shopping center. So just be prepared for that.“

“What can i say. It's a bar. I'll be honest, the bars in that area may just not be for me tbh. The music was literally SO LOUD, I couldn't hear the person I was with that was literally yelling at me. When I went to order a drink, there was a long wait, and not that they were busy, but the staff at 2 bars inside the establishment must have decided I was invisible, after returning to the side where the dj was to try again to order a drink, another long wait for no reason, and when I was served, it was like I was wasting their time. And to make it even worse, I'm not sure if the beer was skunked or I literally just had a bad taste in my mouth from the whole experience. I'm not one to make complaints on businesses, but I most definitely will never return. Best of luck folks.“
