We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“Last night was my husband’s and my first time dining here, and it truly left an impression. One of the first things we loved was the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the community. As soon as you walk in, there’s a sign explaining how meals are donated to local women’s shelters and how guests and staff can pay it forward by purchasing meals for those in need. Anyone facing a tough time can simply take a ticket from the wall for a prepaid meal such a thoughtful and meaningful concept.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal (I wish I remembered her name! -- She had long red wavy hair). She took the time to walk us through the menu, shared her personal favorites, and recommended several must-try tacos. Let me just say… she did not miss!

Every single bite was bursting with flavor. We tried the birria, Havana, Rus & Gus, and Peruvian chicken tacos, along with the street corn salad and veggies on the side and everything was incredible. From the food to the service to the heart behind the restaurant, this place checks all the boxes.

“We were hanging out in Georgetown with our guests from out of town and we were looking for a place to eat lunch. We are all vegetarians and upon seeing good rating of this small restaurant, we decided to give it a try and we are so very glad we did. It's a hidden gem with delicious and healthy food with all vegetarian choices. The food was not only fresh, perfect temperature, and tasty but they had things on their menu that you don't find at a normal mexican joint.“

“This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. The great thing about District Taco is that they provide everything from the delicious food to the chafing dishes/sterno, plates, utensils--everything. It really contributed greatly to the party and the food exceeded my expectations. Shout out to the delivery service they use for catering; they came in and set up the chafing dishes and food and it was a much more full-service experience than I expected. Pleasantly surprised by that. Highly recommend District Taco for their catering!“

It's a giant mass of black ink illustration that is way too busy visually, with a teeny tiny name underneath in a hard to read font when you're driving by on a busy road. The name should be VERY PROMINENT from the street. I drove by twice before figuring it out.“

Throughout the quesadilla there were spots of avocado where it was a fresh bite to cut through the richness of the meat. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

They were dry with not much sauce. Given the prices you would think they could fly to New Mexico and learn how to make an enchilada. My daughter’s nachos were pretty good.
