“Visited this place in DC last weekend with family and it's the best! The pre-dinner bar experience was delightful with excellent martinis. The waiter made it special by asking about our celebration. With a party of seven, we tried different entree's and everyone was impressed with the quality and portions size. The waiter was helpful with menu suggestions. We felt right at home 10/10, definitely coming back !“

“I came for brisket! The flavors were there, they lose 1pt because it was slightly dry. The beaaanns get a 5 with jazz hands. It was a party in my mouth. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. The service was on point. They have a parking lot with somewhat limited spots. I would definitely come back.“

“Everything about this place was great. The decor takes you to Greece, you feel like you're on a side street in Mykonos. I reserved this for Mother's Day Brunch. They accommodated my daughter's gluten allergy well and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back.“

“I went here with my family for my birthday. I always love little French restaurants like this. Great service and a wonderful atmosphere. A rotating cast of servers always made sure things were taken care of. The food was spectacular, savory and great portion sizes. Definitely one of those restaurants where you can just size, take it all in, and enjoy yourself. I hope to return soon!“

“We were celebrating a birthday, and asked for a quiet table, and we were seated in the Wine Room, and it was perfect. We shared a calamari appetizer, and had halibut and crab cakes for the entrees. We shared key lime pie for dessert, and the restaurant provided a special birthday dessert. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious.“

“First time here on a Friday night. We had reservations that were mixed up. Even though the restaurant was expected to be full they accommodated the 6 of us. The owner came over to greet us. I told him that this was my first visit. (Everyone else had been several times) Oh then he proceeded to bring bite size samples for me to try. He then offered up suggestions as to what I need to have for an appetizer, main course and even dessert. Food bursts with flavor. But the real experience here was the service. First class. Thank you all for the dining experience.“

“Absolutely great sushi and great service! Ordered the dragon roll, salmon lover roll, volcano roll, and 2 California rolls. Everything was perfect. We ordered take out after eating there several days prior (second pic with flying dragon roll). I’d say the price is very reasonable for such delicious and fresh sushi. Service was excellent. Will be our go to place for both dine in and take out!“

“Another wonderful meal at a truly lovely restaurant. The staff is very cordial and helpful and the food is tasty and well-presented. I had the salmon trio (smoked salmon, salmon tartar, and salmon roe) for an appetizer and sea bass for my entree. My husband had the wonderful onion soup for an appetizer and the crab cake, scallops, and shrimp for his entree. He was able to get the dish minus scallops as he is allergic to them!! Sample desserts and coffee rounded out our meal. A very pleasant evening all around.“

“nowadays, when hot pot restaurants come to mind, AYCE hot pot locations are most prevalent. this location does hot pot a little different -- all sets come with a predetermined platter of noodles & veggies (napa, enoki mushroom, spinach, broccoli, carrots, tofu, glass noodles, udon), and the price of what you order is determined by what course you order (beef, chicken, seafood, veggie). it's a good introduction to hot pot if you haven't had it before food: you can pick broth upgrades for a price. i picked spicy miso + tonkotsu, and i really liked it. i got the standard beef (9 pieces): it was a whole plate of thinly sliced beef. i have an allergy to peanuts, so i only received the ponzu sauce. the other has sesame and peanut sauce. the ponzu pairs excellently with the hot pot course. you also get a bowl of rice, which i was surprised by (growing up, i never really had rice with hot pot) ambiance: i really liked the decor. it felt a little bit like a bar with its dimmer lighting and neon lighting. was not expecting the seating to be entirely like a bar, so best for small parties. service was prompt and friendly!“

“Probably the best Japanese sushi restaurant we've ever been to. Best miso ever and ‘The Winner’ was a delight—love the mix of flavors and strong truffle. My wife and I have been here twice, both times with fantastic sushi, most recently on my wife's birthday. However, for her main course, my wife ordered the duck breast, which, advertised as medium rare, should have been pink and juicy, . Her duck breast was overcooked, brown, dry and chewy. We were comped the duck and my wife received a nice raspberry sorbet with candle, which helped make up for the duck. Our lesson of the day was this: For fantastic sushi, go Japanese, go Yume; but for fantastic duck breast, go French or Belgian...“

“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. Wait staff and servers are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and not obtrusive. Don’t miss the nice selection of creative cocktails, wine variety and desserts. Continued success and best wishes for this popular bistro!“

“I love Great American Restaurants and can always count on Patsy's American for a perfect casual dining experience. The comfortable seating and airy space with high ceilings give us a unique experience that other restaurants don't provide. The food, drinks, and desserts are always perfect; even a simple hot fudge sundae is delicious at this restaurant. Nothing can go wrong when we dine at Patsy's American.Parking: Although the restaurant has a parking space in front of the premises, it fills up quickly. An adjacent free parking garage is available.“

“Mama Cheng is a decent Chinese spot. It's slightly upscale with good effort on the décor and the prices will reflect that. The waitresses were very attentive and the food came out relatively fast. If you're planning dinner on weekends, you should reserve in advance. 30-minute to an hour wait is typical for walk-ins during peak hours. The lamb skewers and cauliflower tempuras were my favorite. The duck is average. Fried snow pea leaves and mapo tofu are the dishes you must get. The tofu in mapo tofu is so silky soft that it feels like they make them from scratch. Please beware that their menu tends to be changing over time. It's possible that they no longer serve some of the dishes in the pictures you see on Yelp and Google.VERDICT: Good Chinese option for a not-too-often big family dinner“

“First time dining here and loved it. Brought my wife for her birthday and they personalized the menu and brought her a decadent dessert on the house. Calamari breading is immaculate and Wagyu tartare was done very well with some micro greens. Our waiter claimed the duck was the best he’s had and truthfully it was in the highest echelon. The serving of lobster with ravilolini was generous. Such yummy dessert too (had the pineapple mojito). Was a little skeptical given it’s in Falls Church in an office building but pleasantly pleased ?“

“Last night we spent a wonderful evening at Bonaroti’s for our anniversary. It was our first visit, and we throughly enjoyed it. The food was amazing, the service was excellent!I use a mobility scooter, and I was very nervous about my ability to access the restraunt itself. However, I need not have worried, the restraunt had a portable ramp and the staff had obviously assisted wheelchair users many times in the past. Several able bodied men spotted me both entering and exiting the restraunt without making me feel as if I was disturbing everyone (believe me, this attitude is not always the case). Also, Bonaroti has a wheelchair accessible restroom as well.Thank you to Sergio and his staff, we will definitely be returning customers!Wheelchair accessibility: Last night we spent a wonderful evening at Bonaroti’s for our anniversary. “Nazareth is one of the best Ethiopian restaurant in town! The food is authentic and delicious. We ordered TIBS FIRFIR, chickina tibs and Goden tibs served over Njera in family style platter. The Tibs is a perfect balance of spicy and savory. The Y was crispy on the outside and soft chewy on the inside. The ribs firfir is flavorful and satisfying and the portions were huge! The Njera was warm to the touch - a very nice touch! The service is impeccable. The atmosphere at Nazareth is casual and inviting. The owner even came out of the kitchen to greet us and ask about our experience.Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Nazareth. “I have a saying I’m sure I’m not the only one and the saying half the eating experience is the people. They Lyon Hall made me feel like I was with a friendly family. Steven the manager stopped by to check on me, Brooke was super friendly and accommodating, Migjon the chef brought me a special steak to enhance my burger experience. Talk about accommodating Veronica the hostess was really looking out for me. When I thought the item I came for was not available she was going to the chef to ask if they could make it for me(I saw the item was available and saved her the trip). The burger I had could use a little more seasoning beyond that it was perfect!“

“Absolutely wonderful meal. Very happy we chose this place to celebrate a birthday. The food was amazing, and the service was too. Truly authentic Nepali cuisine. Just like the food I had when I lived in Nepal. Would give my highest recommendation. Try the dal (lentil soup), veg pakora, momo, and goat curry!Vegetarian options: The dal (yellow lentil soup) is some of the best dal I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived in India and Nepal for the better half of a decade now. Take that for what it’s worth.Dietary restrictions: I have some food allergies (dairy and gluten) and this place did an outstanding job offering a wide variety of dishes clearly marked on the menu to fit my needs. It’s pretty easy to find compatible dishes for dairy and gluten allergies in the realm of Nepali cuisine.“

“It was definitely busy, but not overcrowded for Mother’s Day. The service was nothing short of excellent. We got our drinks from the bar exceptionally quick. They were fantastic as well. We were never without anything we needed as the wait staff was extremely attentive. Two managers came up to our table to apologize for the “food delay” except none of us felt we were waiting long. To them, it was too long and that shows how much they pride themselves in service. To us it felt like a normal day at a busier restaurant. Our food was outstanding. Everything cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I will definitely be back.“

“Great placement highly recommend.Come here for lunch occasionally, always impressed by the service, atmosphere, and food.ServiceThe hostess was excellent, but what makes it special was as we were waiting for her to return (after she had just seated people ahead of us), the phone at her desk started ringing. Not missing a beat, she answered and politely put them on hold, and then seated us! Yes!!! Finally someone who understands you don’t answer a call and start talking when you already have customers standing in front of you of you! Our server Kelsey was also outstanding, introducing herself and taking care of us quickly and efficiently, very polite…kudos to her and the business!FoodAlways very flavorful and a wide variety of choices. The two of us ordered one lunch special of meatball and baby kale flatbread with asparagus soup, and a Maui Tuna Crunch salad. The flatbread was amazing, the sliced meatballs very flavorful, and the asparagus soup excellent. They do offer a gluten sensitive flatbread if desired. The Maui salad was also excellent, with perfectly seared tuna, but had a very large salad portion. Only small down was my wife asked for the dressing on the side, and it came in two separate very tiny portions, maybe a tablespoon each at best…for a huge salad. Had to ask for more, and our server again brought two more tiny portions, which was then enough. Not sure how it would have come if we had not asked for the dressing on the side, one seemed to be for the tuna, the other for the actual salad itself. Either way, very good, but a very large salad, a bit too much for lunch.Again, very much enjoy coming here. Will I come back…absolutely!Would I recommend …most definitely!“

“I dropped by Akivva today and found a pleasant experience that was BETTER than Cava. How is that possible?!?! One, it wasn't crowded and no line on a Sunday afternoon. Two, the menu is setup as a set of directions which makes it incredibly straightforward and easy to order. Three, in the array of toppings, it was all LABELLED! <GASP!> The staff was very understanding and helpful. A great experience. “Amazing food and service. This restaurant is perfect for vegetarians interested in trying vegetarian versions of authentic Vietnamese specials like shaky beef or bun Bo hue. I got the shaky beef and really enjoyed it. We also got the spring rolls, wontons, tapioca dumplings, and Thai basil chicken. The vegetarian vermicelli platter is one of the most popular dishes here. “Loved this place for years. I'm unsure why it took me so long to review. The burritos here are crazy good. I used to eat a stuffed pepper dish here but I can't remember the last time I ordered it. Regardless, that stuffed pepper was worth slapping your mom just to get away with hers. I tried the posole for the first time today and it is the nearest to perfection a soup can get. A little spicier than taco bamba's posole and the meat is fall off the bone tender, however, there are no bones in the soup“
