“Greeted by an army of sandwich makers, The Sandwich Shop is a well oiled machine. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I came because of the vegetarian options and opted for something I would never normally try: the broccolini and sun dried tomato sandwich. Sometimes this tactic pays off, other times it’s a bust. Regrettably this choice didn’t pay off. I won’t hold it against them too much. It was a risky choice; I guess I don’t like sundried tomatoes as much as I thought I did. The bread however was great, and the atmosphere perfect for a lunch. I’ll try again another day and update the review.“

The owner was so lovely, I felt like I was in a completely safe environment away from the typical hustle and bustle of Fairfax that is totally rare to find. “A very good Subway location. The fixings are consistently fresh and the sandwiches well prepared. Sometimes they appear to be out of select items, like cheeses. But, on the whole this is a great location that we return to. I've been using the iPhone Subway app to order online. Sandwiches are ready when I arrive. I would probably be easier to substitute items out of stock with an in-person order, but for now I'll be using the phone app for its convenience.“

“Ordered online today to pick up at 11:20am…. Walked to store and ended up waiting 40 minutes while the employees made all the customers that walked in orders first. The wait to pickup line kept growing and growing and since we had all paid for our meals, leaving was not an option. Not once did anyone acknowledge or apologize. It would I gotten order quicker by walking in to order. I think the manager needs to rethink that the call in orders are equally as important as walk-ins“
“I was out for a walk and searched for 'food near me' on Google Maps. The Sub Stop was close with over 4 stars, so I decided to try it. I had the cold cut sub with fries. Decent size sib and good fries portion. Although overpriced at more than $15.00, the portions were good, and the service was excellent. The realistic price for these subs is $10-$12. Food prices in general for eat out places like this are 30% more than they should be IMO, but this place is above average because of portion sizes and the service. Another plus was the Old Bay seasoning available for the fries!“

I went in, and there were 2 women close to the counter, and other than that, they were no other patrons in the restaurant.Two employees were off to the left. The gentleman seemed to be taking an order via the a young lady standing next to him. She did not greet me nor come to the front counter.A 3rd person - a woman was cooking and getting the other we rs ready, she is who greeted me.A 4th gentleman came out of the kitchen and, again, noacknowledgment.The food was good. We got 1- steak & cheese and 1-meatball subs and teg and curly fries.I would go back because the food was good, but I wouldn't give them 5 stars or refer them because the service is not good.“

“Subway is a go to staple of mine. Today due to many factors I needed to buy lunch and was on 123. I saw this subway and pulled in. First off they greeted me as I entered. Nice touch. The store was adequately staffed and turning sandwiches fast. Everyone was friendly and professional. I ordered the subway club which is thankfully back on the menu. When I started eating my sandwich the first thing I noticed was the roll. This was much better then any subway I have been to. The roll had a nice crust and was soft and fluffy on the inside like it should be. All the ingredients tasted fresh and I have never been happier with a sandwich from subway in all the years I have been going (20+) Great crew at this location.“

Also their bacon is perfectly cooked and crispy just the way its supposed to be, I add it to everything. “I came here on a weekday and ordered a New York steamer sub. As far as the service and food everything was great. I especially enjoyed the taste of the sandwich, even though it wasn't as big as other subs in the area the taste was hard to beat and the amount was just enough and not to filling.As for the restaurant, everything was tidy and they actually had firefighter jackets on the wall which was cool. That being said I look to coming back when I'm in the area.“

I asked for it as it is listed on the menu, no changes or substitutions, and i would get it again. The hot sauce selection was pretty good.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sub with grilled veggies and cheese. You can skip the cheese and adjust the sauce for a vegan version. The whole wheat bun was fine. The bun is not toasted and it's kind of soft, not rough or rough, and the sub ingredients are grilled.Parking: There's a row of spots right by the door and lots more beyond that.“

They are one the floor of the office building so at first you might be like, where are we?! But it's not that hard to find - - there are helpful signs. It's very worth the visit!!“

The service is overall very quick, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is pleasant, it's always nice to walk into Huntsman Square and be greeted by the aroma that the Subway gives.I think Subway's quality of food has gone down, and priced more than it deserves, but when the frequent coupons come around it's sometimes worth going with friends. “Super late craving for this pregnant mama! And the chantilly location on Metrotech closed an hour early! So I called this location and told them my situation and oh my gosh I will never go to any other firehouse! They were so nice. We got here In about 10 minutes and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a perfect smile and “welcome to firehouse” they were soooo nice. Especially Fernando! He deserves a raise or something really special. He was so personable and understanding. It was like talking to a friend! Our card wasn’t working and he was so patient with us and helped us out.
