“It’s a sports bar with an Irish pub theme. Food is good service is fairly fast. Comparable to a Hooters restaurant given the outfits. However the servers arent just a pretty face, these girls are speedy and on the spot with beverages and checking on you.. As with all restaurants today, more servers and kitchen staff would help service times. But overall it has been a a really good experience.“
“This was my 1st time ordering & I ordered ribs, collards and cabbage. Then the 2nd plate was hamburger on mashed potatoes and gravy with mac and cheese. Both came with cornbread! “Just moved to the area and was very hungry. Ordered and had it delivered. My two kids and I tore it up! Second go round, was a take out, food was BOMB! Try the breakfast! I won’t say it’s better than Waffle House, but it has a larger selection of items to choose from and gives them a RUN for their MONEY HONEY! It gives a real homemade, grandma in the kitchen cooking for the breakfast. I have not tasted the lunch or dinner options. For now, this will be my breakfast spot!! The grits were watery the first time and the second they forgot them. I’ll give them another shot since their food is yummy. Other than that, I’ll be back!!“

“Had a great evening at The Taphouse. The beer selection was great with lots of local brews to choose from. We had the Sloggy Pants juicy IPA, the barrel aged cream ale and the Belgian Strong ale. All were good. For our meals we had the fish n chips, Mississippi roast panini and the old bay wings. All were good. The panini should have more meat in it to make it amazing. The service was great. Jess was bartending and waiting tables. She did an amazing job and was very personable. All together a relaxed chill vibe with good food and good beer. We were traveling through from DC back to Louisiana. Will definitely look to come back when passing through.“
“This Place is so delicious!! We came in last saturday and had to come back. I got the Half chicken again and it always is so perfect hot and fresh. I can hear the angels sing every time! and not to mention I lifted up the wing and there is seasoning in every crevice . They do not miss! It tastes so good I could almost cry. It's always hard for me to choose my sides because they are all soo good. He gets the Saucy Sampler and always mentions how much of a good deal it is. Service was amazing she remembered us from last time which was unexpected but appreciated. 2 Down East Ciders and dessert and I sleep like a baby the rest of the night.“

“I ordered the smothered pork chops with onions and gravy, collard greens, cabbage, cornbread, and water. They give you a good amount of pork chops! There were two in there and they wrap it in tinfoil so it’s easier transportation. The porkchops were absolutely amazing! The collard greens and cabbage looked and tasted fresh. There’s also seating available on the inside with a waiting area and three tables, at least when I came which was early afternoon. It looks like the place opens up more at night. I would definitely recommend!Parking: There are parking spots available in the front and side of the building.“
“The service is wonderful at this tiny ice cream shop, they are so friendly and willing to allow you to sample any flavor you see on the menu and some that are not on the menu. I was able to sample cotton candy gelato ice and it tasted just like cold cotton candy. This small tiny shop is a great place to catch up with an old friend or have a first date. All types of memorabilia are located around the shop to give you that old school soda shop fountain vibe if you're ever in the area, I would highly recommend you stopping in for your favorite scoop of ice cream.“

My favorite dish is the ox tail tacos. I was given generous portions of quality meat with toppings that complimented the texture and flavor. But it's definitely dated, but the service was pretty good each time we have been there (3-4 times now.) The food is good, not amazing, but pretty good. Like everywhere else, the prices for dinner was comparable to others. It actually cost a little over $100 for 5 adults with 4 teas and a water for our dinner this time... which I have to say I wasn't expecting 100%... but it was 5 people and most got the sampler special at $17 each... I think we normally come around lunch time when the prices are slightly lower.Overall (if you can afford the price) it's a nice place with friendly people. No major disappointment other than sticker shock...“

For some reason, It's been my experience that butterbeans are difficult for restaurants to get right, but not this GC, they were cooked to the correct tenderness and well flavored.The employees here ALL seemed very kind, friendly, attentive and efficient.I will say that we felt the bathrooms could use attention, maybe even a remodel or makeover as there was water or something wet on the floors in and outside the stalls and it appeared to be in need of a good, deep cleaning.However, overall, I would recommend this store highly and will definitely try to return soon, as we are not from the area (living approximately 50-ish minutes away) but no longer have a GC in our town.Thank you.“
