“Wow our bartenders were beautiful. We came here on my bday and sadly didn't have long to order food or drinks because they close at 11pm. Most of the kitchen was closed so we were also limited. But we met the owner and I got a picture with her and our bartenders!“

“Overall, this was a good experience. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the menu had a good variety of choices. The ingredients also seemed to be of solid quality.

I tried the Mac & Cheese, Chicken Parmesan, and the Burger with fries. My main criticism was seasoning rather than ingredient quality or overall preparation. Several components tasted under-seasoned, particularly the pasta with the Chicken Parmesan, which tasted as though the cooking water had not been adequately salted. The sauce had a good base and seemed to use quality ingredients, but it needed more seasoning and a little more garlic to bring out the flavors.

The burger, fries, and Mac & Cheese had a similar issue. Everything was cooked spot on, but the flavors were muted and could have benefited from more attention to seasoning during prep.

The fundamentals are there: good ingredients, good service, a nice atmosphere, and a varied menu. With a little more attention to seasoning throughout the cooking process, the food could move from solid to very good. I’d give the overall experience 4 stars.“

“Looking for pizza and drove from our hotel to Trapezium Brewing Company. It was great weather so we chose to sit outside and share the meatballs and a pepperoni pizza with hot honey. Did not disappoint. We left full and satisfied. Service was outstanding and the food came quickly. We had the Eclipse hazy IPA and was very good as well as a combo Stout and pink guava fresco. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and toy for the little ones to play with.“

“I enjoyed my dine-in experience at Longstreet Deli. I made it my business to stop by after seeing so many people every time I would pull up to the traffic light beside the deli. “Shirley's is located a classically renovated hotel in downtown Petersburg. Great detail was taken with the renovation of the building, making it a comfortable high in locatoin. The food is expertly prepared, though my Beets and Burrata was delicious but too small for an entree. Myo companion had the Chicken and apple butter sandwich which was an extra large portion and delicious. Prices are slightly high. I certainly reccomend Shirley's.“

“I came here for a good seafood meal that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Instead of the drive thru, I decided to change it up and eat inside. Count me very surprised.

The moment I walked in, the place smelled amazing, and I was greated after I took my first step in. The staff were polite and quick to take my order. You expect fast food places to be slightly dirty inside, but this place was spotless! The decorations were well done. Good music playing. If it wasnt for the occasional sound of someome taking drive thru orders, I would have mistaken this for a traditional sit-down resteraunt.

Dont let the surrounding area fool you. This place is definitly going to be a return visit for me.“
