“We just left Roma. First time in. We’re traveling. Get the bruschetta, it’s excellent! Our waiter was was very friendly and we received great service. He was extremely busy but still gave us great service Our only complaint was the loud party.“

“I transport items all over the country and love trying new places. This was a great find. I had my food togo. Delicious fresh tortilla and well flavored not dry meet. Fresh guacamole and salsa was very good. Fajitas burrito had fresh crunchy veggies not overcooked and lots of flavor. Will definitely save this location“

“A nice place to eat. If you bring more than 5 people with you, expect to pay 18% more than you would because they charge you without telling you or having it posted anywhere in the restaurant. We usually enjoy eating here. We brought family with us and had a poor server, then they threw in the surprise extra fee because we had 7 people... when I asked, they then told me about the fee and where it told about it in the store... they said and I quote "when we 1st opened, we had it posted on our website, but took it off since people know it now..." verbatim what I was told. My wife & I eat there a lot... well- we did. And we definitely won't bring more clientele with us when we do. Food is pretty good. Service tends to be ok... for the most part... hopefully you won't have any complaint because they don't care about them.“

“Overall, this was a good experience. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the menu had a good variety of choices. The ingredients also seemed to be of solid quality.

I tried the Mac & Cheese, Chicken Parmesan, and the Burger with fries. My main criticism was seasoning rather than ingredient quality or overall preparation. Several components tasted under-seasoned, particularly the pasta with the Chicken Parmesan, which tasted as though the cooking water had not been adequately salted. The sauce had a good base and seemed to use quality ingredients, but it needed more seasoning and a little more garlic to bring out the flavors.

The burger, fries, and Mac & Cheese had a similar issue. Everything was cooked spot on, but the flavors were muted and could have benefited from more attention to seasoning during prep.

The fundamentals are there: good ingredients, good service, a nice atmosphere, and a varied menu. With a little more attention to seasoning throughout the cooking process, the food could move from solid to very good. I’d give the overall experience 4 stars.“

“Decided to treat myself to a Mom break, had a book, a great drink, and a delicious, FRESH and all home made meal. Music was great and the whole atmosphere was just perfect and relaxing. I had the most amazing oysters, and all of the food was AMAZING! Chicken Caesar Salad 🥗 was incredible! Kudos to the Chef(s) and staff!! 🤩🤩🤩 Jamela was my server, and she was not only ridiculously kind and welcoming, but completely knowledgeable about the entire menu, about all the locations, what to recommend and all of the different delicious sauces! She is an absolute gem 💎 . Thank you so much for seeing a tired Mom, and providing a level of GENUINE Service and kindness that I haven’t seen in quite a while. Bless you all! “Had a lovely dinner here while traveling along the I-95 corridor and staying across the street at the Hampton Inn in Petersburg Fort Lee (also a very nice place). Service was very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious, freshly prepared with ample portions at a very reasonable price. An extensive drink selection from the bar is available. Plenty of seating in the dining room area and overall a very well maintained establishment. An authentic, local restaurant business we absolutely hope to visit again during future travel!“

“When I was there it was takeout only. Neat atmosphere with all the Jazz memorabilia. The lady at the counter was very nice. I had the fish sandwich with Mac and cheese. It had two nice filets. The Mac and cheese was AWESOME. I was full, but it was too good to not eat. If you like a little spice with the fish, I'd suggest trying the rinkeydink sauce. Thank you for the great experience.“

“The special was Fried Buttermilk Chicken. I had 4 pieces of chicken, so for the money, it was well worth it. It was really salty though! And that was kind of a turn off!The beef barbque sandwich for $10.95 was okay, seemed a little skimpy. I also bought a pound of beef barbque to go. It was really good and pretty much medium as ordered. There was a couple of nice slices on top and then underneath had some smaller pieces with fat and gristle included. I asked for cups for sauce, but they wanted to charge me for that. The manager said the beef had sauce on it, but it was not throughout the whole pound. That was a little disappointing for $23.00/pound.“

“Colonial Italian Restaurant in colonial heights: if you have an Italian taste bud it’s great. My husband and I sat at the bar for our first time there. After sitting there for about 10 mins we were finally asked if we were dinning in or carrying out. coming from a past server/bartender the service was HORRIBLE. Food was great. I got the build your own pasta with a soup. Soup came out first, after finishing that the plate and bowl sat there until we left. My plate from my pasta after being boxed sat there until we left as well. Felt like we were just a nuisance to her evening. The bartender was NOT FRIENDLY, and I know from past profession we have our good days and bad days but what an experience. She had more conversation and friendliness towards her “regulars” that came in than anyone that was sitting at the bar. We will definitely sit at a table next time.“
