We were so pleased with our wedding cake; the flavors, texture, and uniqueness of what she delivered! The cake received rave reviews from all our guests & it was just stunning! Alison further accommodated our distant guests who joined us via Zoom and helped us send them some goodies and treats via a celebration box! Further, she even recommended our caterer and helped calm some anxious nerves about the dynamics of planning a wedding during a world pandemic! I can NOT recommend this little bake shop enough; Alison will be our go to baker for all our cake needs! PS- we highly recommend the funfetti with yuzu blackberry buttercream, and raspberry filling! “Listen, this place is DELICIOUS. First time I tried Best Buns, I got a Fried chicken egg and cheese sandwich. It was magnificent. But also I was hungover from the previous night so I felt like I couldn’t really enjoy it. So earlier this week, I got a Sausage Egg and cheese on a biscuit on the way to work….AMAZING! But I work in a busy community hospital so again, I couldn’t really savor it. I will be going back for the third time either today or tomorrow. And the staff are super sweeet too. Definitely GO!“

I wanted some things I couldn't see on the order form online and she was so very accommodating, gracious and so quick to respond. I ordered 8 mini cheesecakes (Nutella, lavender, blueberry, saffron, red velvet and plain) and a 9" chocolate cheesecake with chocolate ganache. Everything was so beautifully presented...one of those moments where you eat first with your eyes in anticipation because you almost don't want to cut into it. They all were fantastic...tasting true to their flavors and the ingredients were so incredibly fresh with just the right amount of balance of spice, sweet and slight tang. I'm sensitive to ingredients and I had no reactions so I knew hers were top quality. As this was for a special occasion with a friend coming into town, it really made her visit extra special. I would definitely recommend her cheesecake to anyone who loves quality cheesecake and wonderful customer service. “Cosmo One is hands down one of the best spots in the DMV for beef shawarma, absolutely unmatched! I drove over 30 miles just to try it and it was well worth the trip. Hardly a place where anyone would look for a bakery. it was hard for me to find it and I was shocked where the GPS is taking me is only automotive shops.But we know how badly Afghans and Afghanistan has been wronged for decades by different invaders.I love Afghanistan and its people for anything inflicted upon them.The owner of the bakery serves with most friendly and kind ways while missing a limb, right arm. I was surprised to see a basket 🧺 way back in the corner for those less fortunate to take a loaf of bread 🥖 if you yourself are in hard times or even if you know someone, but it was empty . Although I’m not sure exactly how many loaves go into this basket nor when they bread 🍞 gets placed . My guess is at the end of the day or possibly in the morning . It would be nice to know .“

“Great coffee and pastry! You can get a good traditional biscotti here but the real treats are the Korean pastries which are an adventure to someone who is not familiar with them. We tried a bun stuffed with green bean paste and it was really tasty! Our Americano coffees were also very good. The people are super friendly too.“
