“Food was average at best. Out of everything including a cook. Actually closed the kitchen for about 30 minutes because cook was at end of shift and no one there to replace him. They are listed as a Priority Pass discounted restaurant and when asked, they looked at me like I was crazy. No clue.“

We couldn't resist sharing our entrees, which included smoked brisket meatballs, pan-roasted shrimp, and fried catfish, all of which were incredibly tasty. The portions were generous enough for sharing, and the fried catfish was simply the best we've ever tasted, prompting us to order some to take home. -They do have a bar on both levels.
-Parking can be tricky. Suggest arriving early to secure a good parking spot around the area.

“I returned twice to this stunning setting while staying at the Omni across the street. The interior is magnificent, and for the Christmas season its decorations make it sparkle even more. Beyond the splendid atmosphere, however, was the gracious hospitality extended to this lone traveler. Jack at the bar was very attentive, even when slammed with a post-work onslaught of office workers. Rick the Manager not only stopped by to check on my food - which was excellent - but took time to explain something of the history of the building, coming back to give me a brochure and printed time line of its construction and various lives and renovations. A magnificent building inhabited by beautiful souls. This is a must experience designation if you are visiting Richmond. Absolutely memorable!“

“One of the best college dining halls in the country. They have wide variety, fresh foods made to order, and the price is extremely fair. When I went they had stations for paninis, tacos, poke bowls, and burgers. There is a full salad bar, extensive selection of drinks including slushies, fresh juices, milks, tea, coffee, soda, etc. My favorite of this dining hall is the dessert bar, there are always many options that are delicious such as cupcakes, pies, cookies, cakes, etc. as well as an ice cream station.“

“I have been to the Garden of Eden twice now and have had a pleasant experience each time. The front desk women are friendly, kind, and welcoming. I have been a vegan for seven years now, but not necessarily taking the health aspect seriously until recently. Dr Aseena Madison is my primary care doctor. She is very thoughtful and takes the time to explain things to me in a way that I can understand. She went through my lab results one by one, giving me recommendations for healthy food options to eat to improve my numbers. She took the time to get to know me and made me feel a part of their community there. I’m really happy that someone recommended her to me because I feel much more in control of my health and wellness. It is clear that she is passionate about helping people become the best versions of themselves, and is not one to resort to prescription medicines that don’t get at the cause of the problem. You will not regret it!“
