“Food was average at best. Out of everything including a cook. Actually closed the kitchen for about 30 minutes because cook was at end of shift and no one there to replace him. They are listed as a Priority Pass discounted restaurant and when asked, they looked at me like I was crazy. No clue.“

Our server was exceptional, making the evening even more special as we celebrated my friend's birthday. To our surprise, they treated my friend to a complimentary glass of Prosecco adorned with a birthday candle. We couldn't resist sharing our entrees, which included smoked brisket meatballs, pan-roasted shrimp, and fried catfish, all of which were incredibly tasty. The portions were generous enough for sharing, and the fried catfish was simply the best we've ever tasted, prompting us to order some to take home. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a cozy evening with friends or family!“

Everyone was courteous, kind and friendly. The food was exceptional, especially the chestnut bisque, I would come in for by itself. I ordered the catch of the day, which came with mussels. After a past experience with having a bad mussel at another restaurant, I was both leery and reluctant to try them. The beautiful server with dark hair and glasses reassured me, they were fresh and I would not have any problems. She was correct, the dish with rockfish was outstanding. Now, back to Austin. He was such a great guy, funny, engaging, and absolutely everything. I highly recommend L'Opossum and make your reservation for the bar. You'll have an opportunity to interact with the entire staff at some point. They all will take very good care of you. Bon Appetit!“

“Never had such an waffle, we had just passed by and ordered a few waffles. Never thought I’d be served with calm music and good vibes, and two amazingly soft and delicious waffles. The workers are so nice and the environment is very welcoming. Tip: order waffles with chocolate chip/other on the SIDE!!“

-To me it's an intimate venue as you are close to the stage.
-They do have a bar on both levels.
-Parking can be tricky. Suggest arriving early to secure a good parking spot around the area.

“I had an outstanding experience at Seasons Restaurant in Richmond, VA. Naea provided exceptional service from start to finish warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She made excellent entrée recommendations that did not disappoint, and the drinks were just as impressive.

“One of the best college dining halls in the country. They have wide variety, fresh foods made to order, and the price is extremely fair. When I went they had stations for paninis, tacos, poke bowls, and burgers. There is a full salad bar, extensive selection of drinks including slushies, fresh juices, milks, tea, coffee, soda, etc. My favorite of this dining hall is the dessert bar, there are always many options that are delicious such as cupcakes, pies, cookies, cakes, etc. as well as an ice cream station.“

“Located right near our home, I’ve visited this neighborhood bar twice in December—once on a Thursday night and again recently for brunch. With 38 years in the hospitality industry, I have a strong understanding of how these businesses operate. The food is good, and the service is very solid for a neighborhood bar. I genuinely want to support this place.

That said, ownership and staff may benefit from viewing a few aspects of the experience through a guest’s perspective. I offer this feedback sincerely and hope it’s taken in the constructive spirit intended, because with a couple of small adjustments, the overall experience could be noticeably improved.

First, the use of Fabuloso is extremely overpowering. While staff and ownership may be accustomed to the scent, guests definitely notice it. It overwhelms the smell of the food, and even after walking home, the scent lingered on my jacket.

Second, the music selection feels more aligned with staff preference than with the bar’s atmosphere. Music plays a significant role in shaping the guest experience, and this is another area worth reevaluating.

I recognize that this bar has been around for a long time and has clearly been successful. I’m simply offering my perspective as someone who has spent many years in the industry. I will return, but I do believe these two items deserve closer attention from ownership and staff.“

“Kitchenette is a favorite in our home, best pasta dishes around, the breakfast is top notch, but tonight was the best example of why we love Kitchenette….. the people. We called in and placed a pick up order for my boyfriends birthday. We live 5 minutes from Kitchenette, but there were two accidents, we tried going two different ways, and couldn’t make it there. The lovely young person who answered the phone was so polite and accommodating, they always go above and beyond. Best people and food. I always recommend the bolognese, the salmon, the chocolate mousse, the breakfast sandwiches and burritos are also top notch, and don’t even get me started on the yummy desserts!“
