“Seriously, a gem of a hole in the wall local place. My daughter had the "merica burger" and she devoured it. I had a Lucky Charm burger with a rice crispy treat on it... sounds weird as hell, absolutely demolished it and almost ordered a second one. The beer was cold as hell too! 10/10 will stop by this place anytime we are in town, hell, maybe even if we are within 50 miles. Edit: Forgot to add. I had a flight of Bloody Mary's and my 8 year old wanted one. So they brought him a non-alcholic tomato juice in a little cup. He was absolutely delighted. Waitress was absolutely awesome and I would say very kid friendly.“

“Lil bro brought me here when I was visiting him in Richmond. A nice spot with a plethora of toast and breakfast sandwiches options. I also appreciate that there is tea, match and chai for the none coffee drinkers. The staff is great and the music selections are on point. I also like that there are local artists and self-care small businesses that sell their products in the store.“

“First off my Wife cannot eat anything with dairy and our Waiter had the cook put something together for her to eat??THANK YOU?? the dish not only looked like a painting but it was delicious.
I got the dish with the drizzle of dressing on it and a Corona Beer with lime.
From the pictures hopefully you can see we scoffed down the entire meal. Total Bill just $43 Bucks. Between the food quality and the ambiance of sitting outside along the water way it all just seemed too surreal. We were just visiting this Great State and actually walked back to our hotel feeling a little light footed and smiled at each other that we found a little diamond in the ruff in downtown Virginia. I didn't see anywhere to park. Perhaps park your car opposite the highway feed the meter and walk down.

I recommend an evening for Lunch or Dinner and of course tell them THE GURU sent you. Enjoy?

“Nice brewery! Had two beers while here; a Czech style and Italian style Pilsner. Both were enjoyable for their style with the Czech style being the better of the two. The one downsize is the Czech style came out a smidge warm; first time here so I’ll give them a pass since the Italian style was the proper temp. Also ordered a double smash burger and fries. Burger was definitely charred but that didn’t take away my enjoyment of it, and the fries were great with a quality seasoning. Nice mojo and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back for hopefully a colder Czech style Pilsner.“

We recently hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Richbrau and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were SO friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and made sure we were well taken care of all night. We rented out the whole brewery - highly recommend, it was affordable and so fun to have the whole place to ourselves. The vibe inside is fantastic, and we were lucky with great weather to be able to open the big front doors so it was a lovely indoor/outdoor situation. Kiddos loved the board and table games and watching the trains roll by from out front. The beer was great as usual and the food was delicious - we love the pizza here!!! Enjoyed the apps, too. Super easy process working with them to book and plan the event. Thank you Richbrau!“

“The only thing that was uncomfortable was some one had their cell phone on speaker and the person's voice was louder than comfortable and I could hear the person on the other end. Could the person please take their call outside? I really don't want to hear other people that loud. It's disruptive to the ambience. The Maple Tahini Special Drink was extraordinary! The Burrito was excellent and the pastries are above and beyond! And when school starts and Alchemy-Lift is full, I really hope people use ear buds or go outside to use their mobile phones. “Such a fun atmosphere but it's awkward. The beer place sharing the lot and a wall with the vodka place doesn't allow a mix of beverages on each of their properties. I get it, it's the liquor license. We found a wall shared by both properties. Beer on one side of the wall, vodka on the other. And, yes. We were told we couldn't sit together. Awkward. Ok if your companions agree to one type of alcahol. Know this before you arrive. Awkward.“

“Ninja Kombucha has some of the best quality kombucha's I've had to date - They're not too harsh yet extremely effective!! I've had the pleasure of trying 2 other products of theirs as well, the Fleur Thieves Herbal Elixir and their new Apple Cider Vinegar!! The Herbal Elixir was very potent and I loved that they recommend to add extra honey to the bottle as you use it to increase the sweetness. It helped me beat the winter flu in no time with no lingering coughing or sniffles - I truly believe this product was the reason for that - thank you Ninja!!!

Their new Apple Cider Vinegar is a DREAM!!! I went to their stand at RVA Big Market a few weeks ago and happened to notice this new product on the table! I spoke with Brett about how upset I was that the staple BRAGG brand was recently sold so finding this local alternative that is ethically sourced and produced was GOLD!! I notice that the flavor is crip and fresher compared to other ACV's I've had as well. I've thoroughly enjoyed the versatility of their products especially the ACV - I can't wait to finish my jar to come back for more!!“

Found this place off of the reviews, and walked over from the hotel. While on a road trip, you don't find many flood coffee places, Lift was awesomeness!!!
Walked in and ordered, asked for a cup of water for the pup, guy tells me they have a bowl out back. He made sure the water was fresh for us.
While walking that way, I also realized they served hot food. So glad, because it was great. Sat in the outdoor space with the pup and enjoyed!
Not sure if I mentioned, the coffee!!! It was so good, I left with an extra one to go!!!
The outdoor space was super welcoming and spacious. Also, there is parking out back.

“My parents and I were on our way up to Connecticut for the Holidays. We were looking for Restaurants in the Richmond Area as we were passing by. This place popped up on Upside. I convinced my parents that we should try something we don't have at Home. Our server Wayne was so friendly and kind. “Bottom's Up is so unique with their sourdough crust. I had the Chesapeake (crab meat) and my husband had the Rockefeller (smoked oysters) with thin crust. Both were excellent. “Current veggie burger nails it. Kudos to UM chef for making a delicious homemade veggie burger from simple, natural ingredients. Holds together on the bun with all the toppings and cheese. Love the spicy garlic aioli. I added avocado and even stuffed a bunch of the side salad greens under the top bun. Very satisfying meal for veggie people.“
