“A brewery with some good food! A friend recommended this place for its Taiwanese street food, so I decided to give it a try. I sampled as much as I could, and while some dishes stood out, others didn’t quite meet my taste—just my personal opinion. The Dan Dan noodle sauce and beef pancake were excellent, with spices that were spot on. However, the beef noodle soup felt like it might have come from a central kitchen package. The pork bao was great, with a good size, but the pork belly had too much fat for my liking. The Three-Cup Fried Tofu had a sauce that was overly sweet, and the tofu cubes could have been larger to achieve that crispy skin with a soft texture inside. The lemongrass chicken had good flavor but was unfortunately a bit dry. Overall, we enjoyed the experience—it was a mix of hits and misses. The service and atmosphere were friendly and cozy. Give it a try if you haven’t yet!“

Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the customer service is excellent. It’s all because of Ms. Christine. She makes sure you have an amazing time at her restaurant. She will make reservations for you and be sure food is piping hot and ready for you. Thank you so much for being amazing, Ms. Christine! This is a kid-friendly restaurant, but that doesn’t mean parents allow kids to run around and play when others are there to enjoy the experience as well.

“My wife and I were looking for a halal chinese spot while visiting DC and this was highly recommended on DoorDash so gave it a shot. Safe it say DoorDash's reviews were right! One of the best chinese food I had in the USA so far. And it's halal. We had the friend rice with chicken, Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. All of the 3 were phenomenal. All the halal Chinese food I had in the US was sub-par but this is an exception. Will definitely eat at this place again when in DC and highly recommend!

Make sure you ask for TWO eggs on breakfast sandwiches since they usually only use one egg. In NY, all breakfast sandwiches standardly are made with two eggs. “I’m surprised at all the negative reviews so I thought I’d leave my own! We got delivery from here for the first time recently (via DoorDash) and the food was hot, well packaged, and delicious. It’s standard American Chinese, nothing revolutionary, but I’d certainly order from here again.The kung pao chicken was well cooked, with crunchy chicken and tender vegetables instead of the homogenous mess you get sometimes. Had a nice kick to it too. The wonton soup broth was great and the fried pork dumplings tasted good, although the dough was a little chewy.“

“I've ordered from GF several times. It's always been consistent and there is a nice variety on the menu. I especially like the egg rolls, which are a good size and are light and crispy. The entrees are tasty, especially the Mongolian beef and the Hunan pork. The only area that I think could stand some improvement are the soups. Both the Egg Drop and Wonton soups seemed underwhelming. All in all, I think this is a solid establishment if you want comfort Chinese food. The price is also reasonable compared to a lot of competing places. I recommend this restaurant.“
