“Modern day CHEERS! BEST bar in the DMV! AMAZING PLACE! GREAT vibe/bands/staff/food/bar/service, and the most warm and welcoming staff and "regulars"! Remember the show "CHEERS"? Rename it Pete's! "Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came." Just add terrific live music, great acoustics, and the best dance floor around! Truly impressive across the board - friendly, welcoming and FUN. Pete, Kelly and their team are true professionals; they love their work and make sure everyone feels welcome. Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. Chef Pete (different one) regularly impresses with tasty appetizers, entrees, salads (Greek is a fave), desserts, and more. More than worth a visit - keep going back! I'm proud to be a regular (OK - groupie/super-fan) and my nights at Pete's are true weekend highlights. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. “The bartenders are great and friendly enough given the size of the bar and restaurant as a whole. Prices are reasonable, and the drinks are tasty. Yard House is a nice relaxed spot to go solo for a nice dinner, fun and exciting enough to hit for HH, chill enough to bring your kids. Overall, it's a solid spot. Parking is a bit tight, but you can usually find a space during the week. Located in Springfield Mall.“

The cocktails were imaginative and well balanced. The service was outstanding. We did not have an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to visiting again for dinner. “An excellent dining experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Beautiful decor, stylish but comfortable seating, and just good vibes all round.

All of the food was amazing and so creative, especially the beet tartare which had this vegan egg yolk that looked and tasted like a real egg yolk! The mocktails were really fun too.

Only downside is that it’s pricey for the amount of food you get, but if you’re looking for a more refined dining experience with great atmosphere and delicious food you should definitely consider this place.“

“We hosted a business reception here following a conference and we were so impressed with the Highline team for being so accommodating and responsive to our group's needs. We pulled the reception together pretty last-minute, and yet the Highline helped us to make the arrangements without any hassle. We will certainly be coming back!“

“Awesome spot!! Food was very good! We got the brussel sprouts, Mac & Cheese with bacon, tots, Reuben and the Jalapeño burger. I wish the Mac & Cheese had that cheesy gooey ness to it but that’s a personal preference. It was still super good and we ate the whole thing.
The beer list was extensive! I stuck to their Sour selection and dang they were all so good! My friend had a few different drinks but the one that stuck out was the Peach Cider. It tasted like you legit just bit into a Peach!
The whole staff were welcoming and friendly. The bartender, Joe, (I hope I remembered his name correctly) was great!“

Had the pleasure of opening one of their fine Armagnac with Will. I appreciate the passion they put into giving us such a unique experience through sight, sound, and taste.“

“We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Hive! The room was smaller than a regular hotel (just as advertised) but was so cute and still the perfect size for two people even for a five night stay. The hotel itself is clean and in a great location for walking to all of the DC attractions. The area surrounding the hotel (including the parking deck) seemed very safe, even late in the evenings. We had a “buzz” room and still felt that our room was very quiet, especially to be in a city. The front desk staff were always extremely friendly and happy to help. We were overcharged by the parking deck one night and the staff kindly fixed it immediately. We would definitely recommend Hotel Hive to anyone looking for a place to stay in DC!“

The young ladies were very charming and friendly and the service was top notch. The atmosphere was so inviting, and the food was incredible. Our waiter, Hamen, was a standout; her smile and eloquent explanations of the dishes added a special touch to our meal. She served us with passion and showed no signs of tiredness despite the extremely busy situation. This is an experience you barely find in many restaurants. Birndo is a must-visit. Overall it's a beautiful space, a beautiful bar and beautiful seating areas all around.ServiceThe service was great. It was a Monday night so there wasn't a ton of people there - our service was attentive and made sure we had all we need. As a member you grow to learn the staff and the atmosphere is every warm and welcoming and familiar which is nice. “My father is great man and an even more exceptional cook. Even with my own webber charcoal grill attempting to replicate it isn't the same. The flame broiled and buttered bun along with the perfectly cooked and tender burger meat just satisfies you a different way when you arnt the one cooking it. I've never had a burger come close to replicating that taste my dad is able to achieve on his webber even with my own trial and error. Then there was cowboy cafe. I'm currently enjoying my after dinner beer while happily writing this out. The craziest part is this burger and patty isn't even cooked over charcoal. I know that for a fact just from the taste, but that didnt do the burger any dis-service. In fact I didnt even care the damn thing was so good i finished it before my fries. You can tell a lot from a resturuant when they are able to take the basics and exceed your expectations, no fancy sauce or weird wagyu mix. Quality, fresh ingredients prepared and served by even more exceptional cooks. The French fries were perfectly crispy and I especially was thrilled that they weren't greasy even a little. I will be happily returning.“
