The Surry Seafood Co. Seafood • $$
633 Marina Dr, Surry

“We had a heart-warming experience this afternoon! We brought a group of residents to enjoy lunch on the sunny deck, and they enjoyed a delicious meal and wonderful time. Shift Mgr Kenyatta and Waitress Sarah were incredibly helpful when one of residents needed it most. Kenyatta called the EMT's, checked on us repeatedly and got us a pillow for her comfort; and Sarah's previous nursing school experience came in handy with plenty of conversation to distract her and keep things light. Between Sarah, the aide and myself, we kept her comfortable and distracted. All residents are fine, full and happily headed back home on the ferry. Thank you, #SurrySeafoodCompany !“

“Keland Louisiana Seafood Grab and Go is an absolute gem in Williamsburg, VA. The fish, shrimp, green beans, and fries were all fried to perfection—crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to accommodate my shellfish allergy by cooking my fish separately from the rest of the seafood. That level of attention and consideration made the experience even better.

It’s not just great food—it’s a place where you can tell the owner genuinely cares about his customers. If you’re ever in Williamsburg and craving fresh, perfectly cooked seafood, I highly recommend giving keland’s a try.“

“We had a wonderful dining experience from the welcoming greeters at the door to our wonderful server. The food was amazing from pea soup to steak to dessert, and the punch bowl! The Pringle’s ginger beer drink was very good, too. My daughter loved the oysters. It was a wholesome experience with live music and authenticity in the details (even the silverware is made in Williamsburg). It was also a treat to eat somewhere where historical figures dined in colonial times, but also really an art form to serve a menu inspired by recipes from the 1700s (and everything tasted amazing and fresh). The service was pretty impeccable for the whole staff (lots of servers, greeters, and staff).“

“There were four of us that went out to eat we started with appetizers the couple we went with, had the peppered sea scallops, and the New Orleans style barbecue shrimp each couple shared the appetizers, which were delicious for the main course. I had the 12 ounce fillet mignon, which is called the Oscar nine, which had a marinated portobello mushroom cap under the fillet and on top was jumbo lump crab meatwith asparagus and sauce, my wife had the pan roasted chilean Seabass with rice a side of asparagus with hollandaise sauce and sweet potato we also split the twin South African rock lobster tails to make it a surf and turf special. Our friends had the fillet 8 ounce with lobster tail, baked potato and our other friend had the cowboy cut ribeye steak bone in Oscar style with a side of asparagus with hollandaise sauce and scallop potatoes are served. Jake was fantastic. He was there if we needed anything. They also brought bread and rolls to our table along with honey infused butter to start the meal, and I had a dirty martini with three olives, and ended the meal with black French pressed coffee and a snifter of white Sambuca with three coffee beans. They also split an order of crème brûlée for dessert. The meal and dessert and appetizers were all fantastic. Highly recommend will definitely come back. It was worth the price.“

“The food was delicious. We sat too close to a couple when there were lots of empty tables. It took too long to get a bottle of wine when our appetizers were brought to us. Service could have been better. But this is a special place snd we will be back“
